The Justice Department on Wednesday fired Maurene Comey from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where she most recently led the prosecution of Sean “Diddy” Combs, multiple sources told ABC News.
This was long over due. Maurene Comey was not only involved in the P. Diddy case, she also was involved in the Jeffrey Epstein and the Ghislaine Maxwell cases. Ultimately, Diddy was NOT found guilty of any child sex trafficking crimes with Maurene running the case.
We also know that Maurene Comey was blocking the release of documents in the Epstein case. Last weekend Roger Stone called for the release of documents in the Epstein case that Maurene Comey was blocking from being released.
