Let us make the point with Obama Medvedev START. The world is not safer as George W. Bush, Condi Rice and Robert Gates told Russians they could make hypersonics and as long as they did not point them at America, America did not care.
Russia has the behemoth SARMAT ICBM. China is growing it’s arsenal. America has the F 35 suicide nuclear bomber for mushroom clouds inside Russia on selective dial a targets.
The only people who were really safe under START were the effing Europeans. Americans in Missouri, Texas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming were still expendable as nuclear targets, since the COLD WAR. START meant that Europeans did not have American medium range missiles nor did Japan and Korea to blast Russia and China. They got security, Americans did not.
So we never were secure in America from START. The world could be blown up a dozen times over in nukes with START. So handwringing about START is pure ignorance or paid for opposition against Donald Trump. The Russians are now with China more vulnerable and they are squawking. Therefore President Trump is spreading out the nuclear cloth of death so all can enjoy it fully as Americans were targeted under Bush and Obama.
In looking at this, the Trump Doctrine wants those idiots in Europe, in Macron and Merz with London to arm with nukes so Russia fights the war there first. Russia gets an ass load of medium range nukes, it is going to not be so interested as a wounded bear to be launching the big stuff at America. Same with China, in China gets Shanghaie by Japanese and Korean nukes, China loses it’s coasts in industry, shipping and population and America remains untouched.
This is better than the Golden Dome. You fight a nuclear war by medium range nuclear missiles so fortress America does not get hit, which pleases Russia and China as the Americas left untouched provide the resources, medicines and peaceful help to restore your tumor ridden populations.
Russia sees nothing but benefit in nuking Londonese and Parisian. Same with China in nuking Korea, Taiwan and Japan. They die, but Peking and Moscow get rid of the problem that caused the glow.
So this is agreeable American policy for the first time in the nuclear age literally.
START meant nothing of security for Americans, so it has no value. 47 is right in letting it fall by the wayside as a prod to get America to the place which benefits Americans First.
