I published before about free trees as trees are expensive. I showed golden willow in the cuttings, and I learned that as long as it is willow, almost inch growth, as long as it has leaf bud shoots, it will sprout roots.
I use well water. I can not vouche for tap or HAARP chem rain now.
As you cane see, this is what roots look like when turning into roots from leaves.
I am trying some redtwig dogwood, but nothing yet, but I think I might have a bit on some poplar. Perhaps the willow water is helping the poplar, but will see on that. This though is what you get from willows.
I suspect that weeping, green, red and whatever willow you have will all propagate this way. This is about 3 weeks in. We had freezing temps and chit weather at times, and hot weather, Brier Patch weather, and I cover nothing up, exposed to sun, and I get wee baby willows to plant.
This would be over a 1000 dollars potted up, and still a several hundred dollar sum now as inflation has outpriced trees in most venues.
So that is your free tree lesson in the willow family.
