Our Heavenly Father, hear us in Jesus Name. We come to You to ask You to Shine Your Light in the darkness of people and overcome it. To break their spirits and to break their hearts to make them contrite. To make them pay their vows to You. To make them submit.
Look upon those who walk in stubbornness, rebellion, and willful blindness, wrapped in the shadows of their own pride. Let the piercing rays of Your divine truth expose every hidden motive, shatter the illusions of self-righteousness, and dissolve the hardness that resists Your grace. Bring down the high and lofty thoughts that exalt themselves against You, and let Your holiness conquer the darkness dwelling within the human heart.
Work a profound and sovereign work of brokenness inside their souls, stripping away all arrogance until nothing remains but a genuine, trembling sorrow for sin. Humble them under Your mighty hand, producing a truly broken and contrite spirit that You will not despise. Compel them to remember every promise, covenant, and vow they have made before Your altar, driving them to fulfill their obligations to the Most High with fear and trembling. Bring them to absolute, unconditional surrender at the feet of the King, so that every knee must bow and every mind must submit to Your holy will.
