Earthquake

Something a few days ago was suggesting to me to write something about earthquakes.

While quakes occur daily around the world in diverse places, I have noticed a trend which is unique in this earthquake cycle.
Tsunami's or tidal waves have all but been confirmed now to be caused by huge underwater mudslides as mountains fall away causing a surge. The area of Indonesia has had a massive earthquake the past month, but in all of the cases following there has not been one sympathy quake.

Sympathy quake is a term I coined for a pattern of when Asia for instance would have a quake, that almost to the equal distance through the earth's core one would occur on the other side of the earth. This was happening so frequently that is seemed a norm. That though has changed.

It might have to do with the fact the earth is currently tipping back toward the sun for the northern hemisphere. The earth's molten iron interior might be acting as a dampening agent in sloshing the normal transfer of liquid energy into absorbing it.

What is unique in this pattern is that there are major volcanic surges occurring in Japan and Alaska which were quite prevalent, but now seem to be ebbing. This too can be traced back to the logical culprit of the earth core sloshing north and now in a molten surge ebbing back south, the volcanic activity is lessening in threat.

These core forces though while absorbing and fluctuating a great deal of surface activity in jigging normal activity are not lessening certain events which are still under mantle plate stress from normal plate friction, the layman's term would be the earthquake is still there to happen.

Northern volcanic activity would mean a bubble of molten pressure there. This in turn would mean a sort of earthquake cork on the top end while as stated areas like Indonesia and even Japan were experiencing some very large quakes, while the American, Persian, Italian plates were dormant in the major zones.
What was interesting in the crease point shuddering in America was New Jersey of all places as the "gong to ring" when a faraway bell in Japan was run first. This area is part of the massive New York fault line system which is capable of very large quakes.

One of my favorite fault lines is the New Madrid line. Not because of the fixation on the extreme quakes that region is capable of, but because of it's interesting dormant and active nature.
Davey Crockett in one of his tales of the frontier in the early 1800 period spoke of this region with quite detailed scientific facts without his really knowing what he was recording.

Davey was bear hunting then for black bear. He and a friend would run bears with dogs, corner them and then wade into the fray and stick a knife into the bear for their winter meat and cooking oil.
It must have been quite exciting to pull one's butcher knife, dogs baying, and then take on a beast up to 300 pounds with one fang while the bear was covered with tooth and fang to kill with.

Mr. Crockett though noted the New Madrid quake in passing the subject in killing a bear. He noted a bear had been cornered in a fissure in the land which was created by the great quake.
These fissures apparently were quite common then and large enough to be a king size or bear and man size grave.
Davey would note that it had been several years since the great quake, but the entire region still roared and shook often enough that it was a common happening.

For those who have never experienced and earthquake, they are thrilling things as not unlike a tornado, the first thing one notices is the roar. Being typically human, one freezes and puzzles just what on earth that sound is which sounds a great deal like a semi truck on a road.
By the time the shaking starts, you have it figured out and just experience it with the feeling you are like a flea being shook on a dogs back.
The seismic energy literally is a shock wave that is not unlike the experience of sitting on a stud horse before they explode into bucking in that same type of fluid energy. Fittingly, either the human on a horse or a house on a foundation experiences the finality in windows rattling to vertebrae shook.

The matter though in explanation returns to the coming events which indicate a seismic wrinkle should manifest on the American plate. I realize that anyone can predict the big one as if one says it enough, one is bound to hit the time by random chance.
The North American plate though, specifically, the United States has been dormant for too extended period of time. Oklahoma for example in the New Madrid zone had a great deal of manifestations the past several years, but seemed once again to go dormant again. The pressure though is there as much as in New York, California or in yet undiscovered faults ready to make the news.
If though the northeast is wrinkled in pressure from Alaska being pressed by southern forces and Asian plates, which seem to have subsided, the slosh of the earths liquid core points to a new wrinkle appearing in the southern California region.
No one really knows what New Madrid will do. One can only rely on Davey Crockett noting that the area once it released immense energy was more active than California before it went dormant again.
It would appear this pressure bubble will have maximum effect in rupturing in the June summer solstice as the earth stops and that molten core will force pressure on the surface again.

That of course if other forces do not cause a premature break in one of many stress points in another location and sympathetic quakes do not generate again.

The optimum times are always new moon, full moon, tidal surges, storm surges, natural ebbing and flowing of the ocean slosh.

I make no predictions though and only offer observation, along with being moved to record a unique vista into looking at the complexity of earthquakes as the world turns.
