Long ago, there was a herdsman and orchardist living in flyover blue Reagan state country sent to a people to warn them of a coming judgment.He would tell the forefathers and foremothers of Americans a coming future. His name was the Prophet Amos.
For those who care to see, the same maladies which affected the northern kingdom of Israel, known as Samaria, in the Lost 10 Tribes, mirror exactly the sins of America today. This is not by accident as we are the same peculiar people in traits.
God in His Word is usually very protective of His creation in ladies. There is always a glossing over of our Mother's stumblings from Eve in the fall to even Esther being apprehensive of her calling in saving the Jewish people of the exile.
In Amos though, in one of the rare accounts of the Bible, God starts out by calling the leading ladies of Israel, the cows of Bashan.
One can hear the same sins of today in these leading women who, are intolerant and oppressive to the people under them, dominating their husbands and being possessed by absolute intent on sensual gratification.
Without in any way slamming Mrs. Bill Clinton, she is the prototype of this woman who has now risen one of the worst despots in American history in female form in Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.
Mrs. Clinton in choosing the whip to her husband in riding that coach to power with all of the financial embezzlement, has personified the cows of Bashan which brought down the Israelite kingdom in their sin is sin, for in God's eyes social crimes are the equal of spiritual sins and an oppressive self seeking culture stands before God in Cain's self righteousness guilty, instead of the humbleness of Abel's righteousness admitting faults and trusting in God's Love to overcome all.
Hillary Clinton is on the threshold of the greatest vista of opportunity in any nation's history, but she must transform to morality, leave the religion of convenience behind and peform the sound reasoning to the Jeroboam of Obama in the opiate of the masses.
If she fails in being the alternative and stoops to pettiness and politics God will raise someone else up to deliver His children.
Sarah Palin is this prototype in the Esther mode. It does not matter if the knees quake to God. It matters that the heart stands firm for God's Law. Gov. Palin has many attributes of the highest quality of the Esthers, Ruths and Mary the Mother of Jesus. She though like the majority of the women now leading America must not fall to the allure that the tree is pleasant to eat from.
God in creating Americans a peculiar people made us of a vibrant and resolute nature. When we get going in a good direction, great achievements for God's glory result. When though we get started on the wrong track, complete annihilation of ourselves would occur if not for God interceding.
Our Mothers in Sarah, Rebekah and Rachel were of the highest form of womanhood. Each though in perfect strength were exposed in the perfect imperfect of flaws.
Sarah governed her home in her own tent and staff, equal to that of Abraham, but in wanting an heir cut corners and the end result was Ishmael of a servant woman, who Sarah then in ruling demanded be cast out.
This is mirrored in Valerie Jarrett blurting out she and Obama came to Washington to rule. Power requires the ability to govern oneself and then one does not attempt to rule people from your faults.
Rebekah, was again the strongest of leaders, but she decided to grab power for her son, Jacob. His name literally meaning usurper with the consequences of more hard feelings among the peoples. God had to rename him Isra El, the one who contends with God as God will not have usurpers, period.
This is mirrored in Stanley Ann Dunham in her master plan to usurp the White House for her son Barack, again with the disastrous consequences forming.
Rachel, who would produce the father of America in Joseph, would upon leaving her father, Laban's home, steal his idols and hide them away in her hope chest causing almost the entire ruin of all God developed when Laban came looking for the false ways which were his.
This is the majority of American women in they have developed a society now usurping power from the inherent trait of the Abrahamic males in being naturally lazy in not going to the Promised Land and instead sojourning in Haran, half way there. American women have always been the necessary moral code to assist in keeping the Gentlemen in correct direction and especially the guiding hand of all children.
The disaster is this religion of convenience which Amos witnessed against our forefathers and foremothers over.
In short, the golden calf of Aaron's stewardship, became the golden idol of Bethel, and, Bashan being the area of strength of Israelites, became the definition of ridicule and weakness in God naming His most poetic of creations in the daughters of Israel, the cows of Bashan.
America in the George Bush years as this writer was moved to reveal, was given the opportunity in His Love to repent by storms, disease, failures and wars in chastisement. That season has now closed and now a time of judgment is witnessed against just as Amos spoke of in the Confrontation with God.
The Prophet will intercede lest God would wipe out this entire people and not leave His remnant, for God is a Consuming Flame and his methods are absolute, but it is not in His desire nor pleasure the death of any or all.
The famine could wipe out America from above and beneath the storm of the earth in heat could wipe out America from below, and America would be shown how small she really is. This though is not the purpose of God's Judgment upon His people.
God's judgment judges Him as He judges us, by the same Laws He completes to perfection daily He will judge us. His in outstanding perfection, His children in vital necessity of needing His perfection to prefect them and the children of darkness judged and consumed by the Flame He is.
Those who have grown straight building upon the wall's Foundation He has laid in Christ will have no fear of the plumb line set in judgment. Those whose walls are not set straight will by natural arrogance topple under their own weight as the scales are balanced and all are rewarded for their own choices of life and death which God set before our peoples long ago and we Americans are still under the same contract of.
Those who will hear the message are those who are already of the Light walking and growing in the Dayspring from on High. Those who will gnash at it and ignore it are already set in their darkness to be plumbed to their judgment.
The weakness of our men in not carrying out their duty and the weakness of our women in grabbing for that duty has created the sinful eruption which the entire nation of the United States will be sentenced dearly for.
It is set and will not be removed for justice must be accomplished. It could be lessened and shortened by national returning to God's Way, but how can the leopard change her spots now that she is long in the tooth and her hair is brittle with a dullness of the dark forest she cowers in growling at her condition?
It shall be a time of Jacob's Trouble, a time of Jacob's Remorse, a time for the virgin daughter exposed for the lewd whore she has become, a time of contemplation, a time of the hand grasped upon the mouth in awe saying, "Ah Lord, You are right, but oh how my heart mourns for the daughters of Your people."
It will be what will be for God will be Who He will be. Amen
