What a Conservative Means

I will preface this with I hold Gov. Jindal of Louisiana with the highest regard, but in this current Republicanism which has gripped the GOP, it is nothing of Conservatism in understanding the entire American experience.
What George W. Bush was, was a Cuban Republican. That means someone who is spending money on social government and very pro active on defense.
This has nothing to do with Jewish new Conservatives, but has everything to do with socialism.
None of this is meant an attack upon Gov. Jindal, but the absolute teaching experience for the Republican leaders to they open the history books and maybe roll up their sleeves a bit more as Gov. Jindal's dad has, like Michael Medved's dad knew, so they understand completely in existential experience what it means to be a Republican, so they understand the message they are speaking and the flaws in it.

These children inherited a vast utopia called Ronald Reagan. None of them though, including Reagan's son, Ron jr. have the slightest inkling of what that old man was about.

Ronald Reagan just did not happen. He was the product of a fractured home, who became a lifeguard and saved dozens of people's lives. He washed dishes to attend college. He spouted off to radio big shots to get a job and he carried a gun around in Hollywood, because communists were trying to murder him.
At the zenith of his career he was abandoned by Hollywood and left with nothing. The man was humiliated beyond belief in being someone one day and no one the next.
His struggle brought him to the wilderness where he converted from a Democrat to a Republican.
It would be his speech for Goldwater which would cement some very long corporate circuit work of making speeches which defined Conservatism and America.

He had misery as California Governor. He failed repeatedly at running for President, and finally when history destined him by God's hand, he arose to save America.
He though was fought tough, nail, smear, dirty tricks and pure hatred with communist agent betrayal of America.

That is the formation and foundation of Ronald Wilson Reagan who so many try to emulate and have not clue who he is, because they are not Conservatives at heart.

The Republicans like Eric Cantor and Bobby Jindal, can be heard espousing Reaganism, but time and again they lurch into Bushism or Bush 41 patricianisms.
They get the message for a home run and then knock the thing for a foul ball every time.

Eric Cantor just can not like rich Republicans stop bitching about "poor people" who do not pay income taxes getting a rebate. Mr. Cantor, there are more poor people than rich people first. Second, those poor people pay a greater share of taxes than any other group of Americans BECAUSE IN EXCISE TAXES, GOVERNMENT TAXES AND PASSED ALONG CORPORATE INCOME TAXES which corporations factor into all the goods they buy, poor people pay more in taxes than anyone.
That kind of ignorance by the GOP ruins there chances in fixing the problems and gaining a major voting block.

So Mr. Cantor, as I would gladly support you as Vice President with Sarah Palin, until you and Mitch McConnell figure out that the correct way to trump Obama and gain votes is to put an amendment into the Obama budget where POOR PEOPLE WHO EARN UNDER POVERTY LEVEL WHO ARE PAYING MORE IN TAXES THAN ANYONE, that they do not have to file income taxes if they are under say, 17,000 dollars a year in household income.

Want to do something for Americans who deserve it and win a voting block, while trumping Democrats like Obama with his 13 dollar rebates, have Americans who are poor stop having to be gouged by income taxes.
Figure it out Mr. Cantor instead of bitching about working poor finally getting a few hundred dollar so they can get their teeth fixed.

Into this comes Bobby Jindal whose response to Obama was Cuban Republicanism toned with Reagan. Mr. Jindal though is allot like Dinesh D'Souza who speaks for Conservatives, but as he ranted at me one time stated he was not a Conservative.
D'Souza is like a programmed computer in reciting data and statistics coming to conclusions. His problem is he has no comprehension what makes the data work, meaning he writes about Americans, but being from India, he hasn't the slightest clue of who an American is and how they really think.

Mr. Jindal is American, Republican, but he has no clue about how Ronald Reagan thinks.

For example, Mr. Jindal and many Republicans have singled out the bullet train from Disney to Las Vegas costing billions as some horrid thing. Ronald Reagan would have taken that Democratic issue and made it his issue.
He would have remembered it was Dwight Eisenhower in seeing the German Autoban in how it helped Germany become connected, implemented that entire structure into America called the interstate highway system.
That system created an entire America, a trucking enterprise, a way for all cities to be connected and for commerce to flourish.

Imagine if the GOP instead of bitching about a bullet train instead said, "Hey wait a minute here. Let's instead take the trillion dollars Obama is going to waste and build a national bullet train system, so Americans can ship things, travel faster, more safely and cheaply, to make it all a project to really stimulate the economy with new jobs.........and when we build it, let's lease this thing to China and world and make a fortune out of it.

Let's make it so long haul truckers can stay in their states delivering what the trains haul as freight, so they can be with their families at night.
Let's make it so Boeing builds the trains, Microsoft and IBM do the computers, the Airlines can join in as reservation centers to enhance their profits. GE will build the engines and electronics, GM and Ford will build the travel cars.........let's build a real stimulus to America, with great jobs, a better America not using so much foreign oil which is upgraded to the 22nd century.

See that is what Ronald Reagan in Conservatism would do.

Ronald Reagan is not a chronic bitcher like Newsbusters Noel Sheppard who has not come up with any solutions.
Ronald Reagan is not what America has in Congress who have not figured out the entire package to speak to the heart and soul of America in the simplest of messages in, "Government is going to provide a field for you to prosper by protecting your rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".

Fred Thompson failed because he is not a person who believes in Conservatism at his heart. John McCain is a socialist democrat. The people who claim to be Conservatives are either Bill Buckley Big Brother dictating how you live your life or George Bush wiping your lips with a napkin taking care of you.

That is why I like Gov. Sarah Palin in she actually gets it by 90% who a Conservative is, because she has the children, the handicapped child, served on a school board, took on these patricians and made a difference in her state in giving people their money back.
I like Michael Steele, because he gets it from his own Reagan type poverty background.

These people are Conservatives, because they had it through anguish and tears proven to them what a Conservative life is as you either worked that life or you just committed suicide or crawled into welfare or dope.

Until the Republicans understand at their gut or at the very least start listening to a blog like this to refine their message, they are not going to be effective in the least during these times.

Unless you have had hog sh*t on your hands and knows it does not come off, unless you gutted a moose and knows that gut stench does not come off, unless you have held a person struggling for their life and not returning as they die, you really don't get Ronald Reagan or how to understand, "You never feel so good inside unless you have road a horse outside".

Tears and anguish is what makes a Conservative, as these people in God never gave up, but were given another day by God to get up and get moving again. That is who an American is.
So unless you understand that poor people get screwed over worse daily than everyone else and understand a golden opportunity in taking an Obama waste and making it a national building project which all will benefit from, then you are just a Republican mouthing words and being discounted by the Silent Majority who do not do a great deal of public complaining as they have fought their battles long enough.

Republicans have to reach these voters. They have to reach these voters with real projects and policy which speaks to them.
Otherwise, Bobby Jindal and Eric Cantor can talk a good game, but all they will get is applause from a hopeful choir while the rest of America follows buffoons like Obama into the abyss.

As Bill Cowher several years ago told his world champion Steelers, they could do better and astonished them, Republicans you have whet your edge, but you have not even started yet to get into this game in winning it with the real blade you need on your Reagan knife.
