I bump into many interesting people to study in gauging their responses
to various situations and prejudices. What is amazing is the vehemence
which some people harbor in them as trip wires for all they hate,
without ever knowing a person that died over 100 years ago.
One such character in history is George Armstrong Custer. A person I met
in just passing his name along, suddenly went into a diatribe about
Custer was power hungry, a glory hog because he had so many pictures
taken and his wife was earning money after he died standing up for him.
If one actually studies the Custer historical records found in many
unimpeachable sources, one finds out that in the year he was
assassinated, he could have left the military and earned a fortune on
the stage to rival Buffalo Bill's Wild West Shows. That type of
information in being power hungry would have been just the political
venue for someone seeking power, but yet he stayed in the military even
when President Grant had humiliated him.
As for the photos, Gen. Custer was a national celebrity at being a child
general who all were interested in. He did not have journalists or
photographers employed for publicity. Instead it was these media people
who were pursuing him.
As for Libby standing up for her husband? What was she supposed to do?
Perhaps denounce him? Elizabeth Custer instead like Nancy Reagan
remained faithful to a man she loved, and did her utmost to make certain
the forces arrayed against him did not win out in assassinating his
character as they assassinated him.
When one examines hates and prejudices, they come from within the person
and array themselves on people who they absolutely have no idea about,
and one hears a great deal of, "I think", when the correct phrase is, "I
know from historical documentation or from analysis".
The reason I bring up George and Libby Custer is America is experiencing
a love hate phase which is irrational in dealing with Sarah Palin being
hated and Barack Obama in being adored.
I have an elderly Aunt who just hates Sarah Palin. My Aunt decided
sometime in 2007 that Obama was who she wanted, before she even knew he
was running, and it did not matter, nor does it matter any facts about
him. Obama is a blind spot as the Obama she has is the one inside her
person and there is nothing this liar and usurper will do which will
convince her, until the time he bankrupts her son's businesses or drafts
her grandchildren to die in his wars.
She is like Ed Koch who will like all the Obama schizophrenics not
become aware until her world is personally burning down.
Sarah Palin instead encapsulates the threat to the Obama fiction, with
the reality she is the pretty girl, all of these fat ugly women were
jealous of in school and who all these David Letterman types were
laughed at in not having sex with him no matter how much money and power
he wagged at them.
Sarah Palin is a threat to the weak, because they are terrified in she
is the sum of all their failures in life. My Aunt still has problems
with her pretty sister from her youth and her sister has been in heaven
now for decades. It is that kind of harboring of personal prejudice
which is geared up in this for Obama and for Gov. Palin in far too many
people.
In the locality of my youth, there was an immigrant who literally was
given a quarter of land by some of the other established farmers. I once
heard a story about him in which he never failed if someone had a bigger
crop, had better fortune or a better life in which this immigrant with
heartfelt delight was not so very pleased that someone was so blessed by
God.
He was a literal Job in caring about others and celebrating their good
gifts from God. For some reason that touched me in my Spirit and I have
made it a point to never begrudge anyone success or having good fortune
which excels mine or overshadows me.
It has come in time to I honestly do not look at Sarah Palin as a
beautiful woman. I instead marvel at her strengths, accomplishments and
her character. That is who I see her as, not as a woman, but as a
fascinating child of God on a stage He has created.
In contrast, that is why I inherently detest Barack Hussein Obama. He is
a liar, someone who will do anything in destroying others to win, is a
fraud, a blasphemer and hides in a media persona as the 10 year old
inside is as vacuous as a Bruce Chilton rambling about Christ.
It will surprise Obamalings in the amount of space Mr. Obama takes up
here, but the minute Mr. Obama is no longer a threat to America in being
removed from office, I really would prefer if I never have to mention
his name again, as he is such an immense nothing like Jimmy Carter that
if he would just go into exile, dribble his balls on some Albanian
basketball court and never terrorize Americans again, that it would be
the outcome I prefer.
That is the reason George W. Bush has risen in esteem with this blog in
he has just become a Citizen again. Mr. and Mrs. Bush do the right thing
at Fort Hood. Their children are not in the news and from time to time,
I see them at a Cowboys game, and it pleases me in how much they behave
so well.
This is not to say that someone like Richard Nixon was a problem in his
involvement in policy, but Mr. Nixon handled it correctly in writing
books and being a trusted voice all from Reagan to Bill Clinton turned to.
I do not like the person Bill Clinton is nor do I care for his games now
again in this Hutatree part two, but he has acted well as a Democrat at
the Denver convention doing what Democrats needed. What I do not prefer
though is what Mr. Obama did in humiliating Bill Clinton in sending him
as a token gift to North Korea.
Bill Clinton was a President. He should never be sent on degrading
missions like that, but then Mr. Clinton in appearing again on the stage
is exacting his revenge for Hillary in 2012, in Mr. Clinton simply
appearing exposes the contrast in how inept cool dude Obama is compared
to the suave politician Bill Clinton is.
It is like watching Chris Rock cower around Tavis Smiley. One is not and
the other is.
I honestly feel sorry for most folks like John Edwards to creatures like
Levi Johnston, even if I detest them. Most Obamaside folks are cheaters
and the reason they cheat is they know like Obama they are losers inside
and have to cut the corners to steal a victory.
How a Soldier who died for his nation and actually died protecting other
Indians from the Sioux has been so smeared is an amazing situation in
the same Obama folks are covering up still what they did in
assassinating the Custer command, and are smearing Gov. Palin as she is
not of this patrician horde of the elite.
satan's hand is in this as it invokes inside people couching a far too
willing of place to vent their self hatred upon someone who in most
cases is going to be their greatest salvation in saving them from
themselves.
In that, that is what an Obama voter is. They are not looking to be
saved, be saved from themselves or find any saving Grace. Instead, they
hope that Obama is the one who tells them their forms of self suicide is
alright as they vent that volcanic hatred on those who do not and would
never bow to anyone or apologize for America.
Strange that hatred ends at heaven's gates, but Mr. Obama's followers
fill the world with it.
