It is the most amazing thing to behold Robert Gates under Ronald Reagan seemed America, the Robert Gates under George W. Bush seemed competent, but the Robert Gates under B. Hussein Obama, appears to be a stooge working for the Kremlin and getting his paycheck from Peking.
The latest Gates Gatastrophe involves not Gates cutting the US military, but Gates literally surrendering the Seven Seas.
For those who missed it, Gates announced that due to the Chinese communist hypersonic anti carrier missiles, that the age of the United States carriers is at an end and they are obsolete.
In military jargon, Sec. of Defenselessness Robert Gates has sh*t for brains.
I give you an example of obsolete warfare.
In World War II, it was found that tanks like the German Panzers had straight armour which meant like in World War I that crews were being fragged in their own tanks.
It was found that the slanting of armour in physics gave a deflection quality and a quality of making the armour "thicker" due to dynamics of missile penetration.
So tanks were obsolete and yet made current by changing the slope of metal.
The same situation occurred in the 1967 War in the Middle East in rockets were knocking out Israeli tanks.
The solutions was "exploding armour" which is nothing more than explosive plates on a tank which detonate when struck and neutralize the effects of an incoming shell.
If Robert Gates had more than Obama dung for brains, he would know that the Chicom hypersonic missiles have various countermeasure responses.
For example, a layer of mail or exploding armour would in certain grid patterns provide a 3rd shield upon a carrier. I will not reveal the pattern in public, but it is known to those who pull down buildings like on 9 11.
The second layer could be a high jet water cannon producing a wall of water which a hypersonic missile would literally detonate against hundreds of yards off a ship.
The first layer would be a sphere mortar which I just designed. What this device would be would a high explosive shell which would be round, and built in layers, sort of like the implosion detonator on a nuclear bomb but in reverse as the concussion would explode outward.
As this cannister was fired, it would explode several hundred yards from the carrier, and in repetition keep on exploding, and propelling itself along creating a horrendous shock wave which a hypersonic missile would detonate against or be ripped apart.
For those who have ever stood beside magnum firearms going off, one realizes quickly the tearing effect it feels like on the human skin. The same effect when magnified would create a wall of force to protect any carrier to defeat a Chicom missile.
If one cared to add an Aegis line of defense in a thermobaric type detonation device to smash a hypersonic missile, the same effect would work.
Lastly, as this hypersonic missile is one which mimics a nuclear bomb detonating in force, it simply is an LC Doctrine to tell the pretty Peking Girl, that if they or their counterparts ever launch one of these missiles at the US Fleet, it will be viewed as an act of nuclear warfare, and the United States will respond with nuclear strikes upon Chinese populations and PLA sites, and when China responds, the US will counterstrike so that no Chinese communist garbage collector will be alive to carry on the Mao tradition.
One does not see mustard gas appearing on battlefields against America, because that class of weapon was met with a WMD response.
So if Mr. Gates did not have guano for Obama brains, he would not be painting the US Navy into a corner offering them up as fossils to die on the Obama plate, but instead would be informing the pretty Peking girls Obama is bowing to that these United States will respond as a mandate with no way to exceptions in a full nuclear strike if Chicom hypersonics ever are launched at the US Fleet.
There is no such thing as an obsolete weapon. There are only dolts who do not comprehend how to neutralize an enemy so that weapon will be viable.
