Hosea 10: 14, 15: Therefore the terrors of war shall rise among your people, and all your forts will be destroyed, just as at Beth-arbel, which Shalman destroyed; even mothers and children were dashed to their death there.

That will be your fate too, you people of Israel, because of your great wickedess. In one morning the king of Israel shall be destroyed.

For interesting discernment. Shalman was probably King Salamon of Moab, who invaded Gilead in 740 BC.

The discernment comes in prophecy in the Kings of Israel were of Sarmaria and not of royal blood so not true kings.

Gilead is the major tribe of Joseph, of which the Americans are chiefly descended from.
