I found it most interesting in patrician Alan Simpson in his raise taxes and protect socialism panel about the massive Obama spending, decided to attack America's elderly as "America's Greediest Generation".
This coming from a multi millionaire lawyer, living off of Americans in extravagance voted for himself while he was a United States Senator.
Simpson could do ill to look himself in the mirror.
What makes me fume over this is, it is not the greedy geezers in America, who sacrificed in wars, immense taxes to fund a war machine to protect European socialists and worked themselves to cripple status for their families, but the real problem in this is the a**hole children and relatives who are not caring for the elderly.
In noting my Mom's, necessary hip surgery after the femur was broken, I personally saved each of you at least $40,000 dollars in taxes by taking care of my Mom.
I made certain she was not put into a nursing home which you would have paid for, I did therapy at home in addition to professional physical therapy which advanced through prayer her recovery early, and I alone was her chaffeur, chef and house servant, so the goverment was not having to send these services to assist her.
The point in this is simple, that there would not be near the burden on the government services Americans rely upon, if the ungrateful children in America would just take care of their grandparents and parents.
I learned a great deal of this in my own family in how shiftless people can be in not shirking a phone call, going on a weekend away and not bothering to make certain someone was there to check on my Mom. This all fell upon me and I was happy to do it, but I can testify what selfish asses there are all across America in people 16 to retirement age in just dumping the elderly into some system, and then not even showing up as a volunteer.
One of my favorite comments I heard was someone telling an elderly person, "Oh we didn't need to check on you because you had a walker".
What the hell is that? Is a walker going to pick someone up if they fall? Is a walker going to give a massage? Is a walker going to make certain a person is at ease so they can heal and rest?
This all points directly at Alan Simpson who should be taken out, tied to his expensive car and elderly Americans can throw rotten tomatoes at him, because at the CORE OF THIS is lawyers who Allan Simpson is in filing all these damned lawsuits which drive up costs in everything from food to medical care.
My Mom had to have additional scans, because the hospital has to cover itself from lawsuits Allan Simpson or John Edwards would file.
My brother always mentions a poor rancher he knows, who had to do all the work to get disability, and in that his prick lawyer gets 40% of the settlement check every month.
There is no greediest generation in America. All there is, is greedy bastards like Allan Simpson in the lawyer lobby and shiftless brats who can't run away from parents and grandparents fast enough in looking after them.
