This needs to be stated and understood, the Income Tax was passed for robber barons as a way to have the government legally steal money from people in order to put it into government mandates and contracts which would then flow to the power elite.
Think of it as the Obama stimulus in funding unions, kickbacks, green rapine and crime.
That is what taxes are.
A person of industry or union looks at taxes as a way to get government to purchase large quantities of what they are building, so they can become more powerful and wealthy.
Once you comprehend that is what taxes are now for, there can be an understanding of what taxes are supposed to be for.
In 1776, taxes were excise and importation taxes, meaning taxes as on tea which was at 2% and started the Revolution were on imported products, and most of those taxes were aimed at protecting American fledgling industry.
Imagine that, taxes aimed at other nations to protect Americans.
I have a simple tax which I would offer that is better than Ron Paul, Barack Obama and Herman Cain combined. I have listed other tax structures which would work, but this is just for play and is called the 1776 Tax in honor of the American Nation.
The tax is simple really, it taxes all imports at 50%, which of course throws all of this into new dimension of commerce that prices being so high, Americans will not buy, and domestics will be able to make goods here.
The biggest import that this targets is oil.........oh and yes if America exports coal to China, then there is a 50% tax on that energy exported.
What this oil tax means then, is that crude will be 150 dollars per barrel AND THE COST IS TO BE PAID BY THE AMERICAN COMPANIES IMPORTING THIS CRUDE.....not Americans, because they will pay just 3.4o a gallon for gas.
Of course you will notice shortages would occur as companies would say, "I can't afford to pay for that".........ah there is the drill bit, because this would mean all that oil in America would be uncapped and drilled and the rapine would stop on the American consumer.
I have advocated limits on what Americans can be taxed across the board at 10%, meaning combined in excise, import, property and income taxes. All pay the same, and all of a sudden all of those welfare elites getting money from welfare poor forcing them to buy types of bread produced by the elites, all stops.
It all stops in that welfare of corporations and unions getting major bucks...and the buck stops first in no government employee gets paid if the books are not balanced.
How long do you think Obama and Congress would have debt if they weren't getting paid until the books were balanced at no more than 10% of market.
Some will say, "But you need all that taxes for protection". Bull pussy to that, as you just give 20 thermonuclear bombs to each state, and I dare you to find one damn Chinaman or Russia who would care to invade America knowing scorched earth was their area code.
This is not about redistribution of wealth as Obama lays claim to or tax reform as Limbaugh whines about, this is and always has been about the elite stealing money from Americans and raping their share while feigning support for the poor or the working people.
1776 tax, pretty simple, from a simple time when the great Alexander Hamiliton governed American economics.
