The final chapters of the Book of Daniel focus completely upon the Empire of Greece. That is interesting as Daniel knew of Rome in dreams he interpreted, but yet the Holy Angels were revealing to him constantly in focus on Greece.
The Apostles for their focus were thinking upon Rome as that as the empire of the day, but yet when Gabriel and the Holy Angels were revealing things to Daniel, they did not focus on Persia, which Daniel was a leader in, nor in Babylon which Daniel was taken captive by in those empires, but instead sequeyed from Daniel's time to the end times literally in linking the Greek divisions of Alexander's Empire to Antiochos Epiphanes of the Syrian Greek Dynasty to the anti Christ who would come.
This is significant in pointing to a Biblical reality in when the Bible speaks of Babylon, it is that world government body, and while in Revelation Jesus points directly to Rome and the Vatican in league in the 10 nation alliance under the anti Christ, there is the Daniel Prophecies which Jesus, Himself quotes in Matthew 24, in the abomination which makes desolate, or the sacrificing of pigs in the Jerusalem Temple making it void of Holiness, which is of course going to repeat as this event had already taken place when Christ quoted it for a future event in duality.
There are distinct clues to this Greek leader in he worships a deity his fathers did not know, and he will honor this deity with gold, silver and gems in bastions of power as he glorifies it, and glorifies himself over God and has no regard for His Christ.
