There are good souls in this world and one of them had a Dad who taught her about the woods in growing up. Those kinds of lessons of existential experience are most important when one is upon a journey which takes them into academia.
I wonder what it would be like to be named after something like Tara in Gone with the Wind. I wonder this, because for some reason Scarlet O' Hara and Rhet Butler living on Lame Plantation just does not have the same ring to it.
Perhaps if Lame was pronounced not in English, it might have a bit more nuance to it like Tara, but one does not usually find southern plantations in Ireland
As I beat about the bush in starting this "thank you" to Tara, I am dealing with the spiders as today after the Wormwood details were published they were more than interested in what was being shared here. Cursors freeze and pages lock and apparently the global Homeland intelligence gathering system is at focus on this little tower in the middle of nowhere as what I am posting shakes their world as they know what is coming, but are not able to glean the details.
First an apology though to Tara, as when she donated a week ago in an e check, they post to the account as flagged in being delayed. They delay for a week and that flag is the place notes appear, and when I did not see her note offering to help with Emma in vet bills.
That was extremely kind of her to offer and I as TL mentioned I had a note there and what it contained, we both desired to express our thankfulness for the kindness of that offer.
To tell about Emma though in I spoke with John my vet and he was telling me a month ago that when animals are that sick for that long that recoveries probably do not happen. So Emma is beyond what veterinary science can perform and it is my laying on the hands in prayer and doing things for Em that would have her feel better.
I had a real "treat" from her, as she had eaten too much and as I have mentioned she groans with every breath and has done so since a kid. The treat was to be able to rub her tummy again and I know she liked that and it was a touching moment with her as no matter the condition she is still my girl and knows it.
I actually was pondering after trying more copper to see about research into the women's joint compounds which are sold. I remember long ago the dead doctors guy or someone was talking about using gelatin as that is made from cattle joints, to see if that might help. Goats seem to be allot like people in treatments, but it is a case of not wanting to do more harm to animals that are auditioning for death every few days.
This though is not about death, this is about Tara fulfilling God's Caring. Sometimes nothing can really be done, but it is the offer of someone to just offer something that is what is important. It is similar to the kind people who mentioned the star pattern silverware and shared photos. Out of my league in prices, but I truly appreciated the kindness and I was able to see what real forks looked like. That was very nice of them.
In that the offer was enough, and I would have felt guilty any way as people have enough bills of their own without taking on added responsibilities in these depression times. I do not care how many times FOX or SRN news tell me how wonderful the economy is.....I know different as 4 dollar gasoline is not happy times are here again.
I do pray that God gives good things to all of you who are good. It pleases me so much as the Holy Ghost repeats the Bible verses in the Old Testament that God requires of His children mercy or caring about others more than expensive offerings in Church. Numbers of you have given me a drink of water, have visited me in this prison here and have been kind in words.
Too many of you have thanked me, and that stuns me, but then you are such good people that of course you would use the words "thank you".
In that, I say thank you to Tara for her kind offer. As she knows as others do with people or animals they love, when it is that impossible time in God perfecting in weakness, what matters then is someone being kind and just offering kindness.
Lord God in the times ahead, may You always strike down her enemies, hold her in Your Peace and surround her with people who care about her in Your Name, Amen and Amen
