Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth. We shall know by this that we are of the truth, and shall assure our heart before Him, in whatever our heart condemns us; for God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And we know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. --1 John 3:18-24
A prayer for the Remnant- those who are overworked, overtired, unappreciated, rejected and hated nonstop by this world, and beaten to a pulp in losing hope and strength when there is nothing left to give.
Father, please Uphold and Uplift Your children in all things as they are under constant attack, directly in things seen and in tools of satan unseen but just as keenly felt. Please Send Your holy angels to Minister to them, Guard them from evil in every form, and Restore and Refresh and Renew them in every moment. Carry them through the hard times, Be with them close by their side as they walk with You daily and as they Follow in Your footsteps of Dying to self and carrying the cross, and Give them the victory as You have already Won. Please Fulfill each individual need which You Know and Answer before we even ask.
Lord, You Know when we are weak and most in desperate need of Your Lovingkindness, Grace and Mercy. Please Pour out these Gifts upon Your children and Fill us to overflowing with Your Perfect Peace today and always. Please Renew us in Joy and Faith, as Your Joy is our Strength and Faith only comes by Your Grace. Thank You for Dying on the cross and Rising again to Save us and to Set us free to Hope and to Love and to look forward to a Life Everlasting with You. Thank You for Interceding for us, for making a closer and deeper relationship possible with You, and for Sending the Holy Ghost to Be with us always as a Teacher, Helper, and Friend.
Please Watch over us in the gathering darkness. Have Mercy upon us Lord for we are mere clay and we so need Your Protection and Strength, for we are being sheared for the slaughter and there is none to save but You.
