As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips, melted
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup good quality Mayonnaise
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
This the basic recipe, of wet and then dry. This thing takes awhile to bake. Last time I did it, was like an hour or better, so you better check on it.
Think of this Kissen or German brownie like a chewy gooey cookie.
The frosting is Auntie's.
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup butter
Melt and bring to a boil.
Off the burner, add.
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
Stir and keep stirring until it starts to stiffen. You will know the correct time as the frosting will start to make fudge on the side of the bowl. It will soften as this is hot by scraping it back into the bowl.
Just do not wait too long or it will stiffen to fudge and you will not be able to spread it.
As I type this, I just had a piece from a 9 by 9 inch pan, four rows, 3 pieces to a row, and I feel like, "Oh my God what did I eat!!!" I had whipped cream too.
This is gong to overload your sweet, your chocolate and make you feel like a Hershey bar. I should mention I do not like chocolate that well, but will eat this, as this was the only sweet frosting which did not gag me as a child.
This will get you there and back. Enjoy
