Even the Times "editorial board" was overflowing with the unctions of a delicious deluge of tears, in Brooksonian self indulgence in claiming the seat of Anton Scalia on the Supreme Court was stolen by Republicans from Barack Obama, and instead of President Trump appointing Obama's last turd flush, President Trump actually kept his word, and appointed the over qualified Judge Gorsuch.
It’s been almost a year since Senate Republicans took an empty Supreme Court seat hostage, discarding a constitutional duty that both parties have honored throughout American history and hobbling an entire branch of government for partisan gain.
What liberals fail to comprehend is that the longer they delay on the Supreme Court, the more the Appellate Courts will find for President Donald Trump, and the Supreme Court will either refuse to hear the the cases or hear them and vote 4 to 4 and President Trump wins.
Some might have a "huh" moment in this, but they are missing that by the liberal delays, they marginalize the courts WHICH LIBERALS LIVE AND DIE FOR, and that means the weapon liberals have used to overthrow America with, will be neutralized. This means for the next 8 years, Republicans in performing what Americans desire, will govern America with ever increasing Congressional and Executive mandates.

Executive Obama is overturned with the stroke of a pen. The Courts of liberals are chiseled away with President Trump Executive Orders and Congressional Legislation, and that majority of the Executive and Legislative obliterates the liberal courts, and therefore all liberal agendas, and that duo is the check and balance on out of control courts.
If the New York Times had any sense, and if Senator Charles Schumer had any sense, he would have told President Trump and Majority Leader McConnell, "My leadership will not stand in the way for your Cabinet, nor for your Supreme Court, but in exchange I want 1/3rd of the lower courts to be moderate appointments."
President Trump and Republicans would have agreed to that compromise. In this, that is the Bill and Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, backstabbing all or nothing which has so conditioned Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi to losing positions.
Realize that democrats advocate for aborting their voters, advocate for illegals who will be deported and advocate for sodomites who do not reproduce.
Liberals again are not implementing a grande strategy, but instead are finding ways to commit political suicide.
There is a Founders maxim from centuries ago, 'When you are in the majority vote and when you are in the minority talk". Somehow democrats mislead by Clinton Obama have hung themselves with, "When the majority votes, you whine, and when the minority loses, you whine".
Unless of course you are David Brooks, then you call the President the devil, for which you should be fired for.
