Today is not the lead up to Jesus death in Thursday. Jesus said He would be 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb, and Friday night, Saturday to already risen on Sunday morning is not 3 days.
To address this again as the world is filled with the vacuous, lazy and malicious, this is the time line before the Passover which Christ was offered up as the unblemished Lamb of God.
Tuesday night He partook of the Last Supper and then was in the Garden praying. The Temple soldiers came and arrested him. All Tuesday night he was held in trial at the Sanhedrin in the kangaroo court.
Wednesday morning he was sent to Pilot, beaten, scourged, abused and sentenced to death for Wednesday afternoon.
Jesus execution began around noon on Wednesday, and He gave up the Spirit around 3 o'clock. This then set in motion Joseph of Aramathea going to pilot, and placing the body in the tomb before sundown, because Thursday was a High Day, or the Passover that year according to lunar cycles.
Thursday was Holy, so day and night was 1 day and 1 night.
Friday, or Good Friday, nothing was done, as this was a day of shock and mourning. Day 2 and night 2.
Saturday is the Sabbath, nothing could be done because it as another Holy Day, Day 3 and night 3.
Jesus arose before dawn on the first day of the week as the Bible says the women went to prepare the body. As it was this time of the year, it would be cool and the body would not decompose, although it may have bloated, but it is doubtful as Jesus was not fed all day and He probably had the excrement beat out of Him.
So that is the time line, and Jesus died for the sins of all who repentent. Those who have been cursing me, TL and setting in motion the things of destruction and murder here, are sealed in their sins, and Judgment awaits them.

The suffering here is an indication of how much of a frenzy evil is abounding in this world, and how the cup of iniquity is filling. I look to the Promise of God through Isaiah the Prophet when I will not remember this Job suffering any more. Now I simply weep inside in this great affliction which will inflate, for it is as Christ told the women from the cross to not weep for Him, because the destruction of the entire Jewish nation was coming over the evil which was done.
