More Treasure in Heaven for You

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

The Viking wrote me a letter and I was so pleased that I am not the only one in the world who writes as well as I do about Richard and Stephanie things, as our girls correspondence is what sleepovers are made of.

I am moved in this post to share a bit about the goodness of people who donated or have prayed, for the goodness I was able to pass along. This has to do with the auto shop about blowing up the pickup by the oil plug going haywire, and their thankfully fixing it all as a service.

I will not go to the new engine or replacement vehicle as that is in the 4 figures, as I was thinking the 200 bucks would be enough to have me sullen about, so when they said they ate the charge and I walked out, the Holy Ghost pointed out to me that it would be nice to do something back, besides the gas I usually put into the loaner so it would help someone else......yes probably a rich person who sucks the last vapour out of a gas tank, but it is the intention that counts with God.

So we have this like 7 11 here, but it does not serve green coffee. I do not think I have ever purchased food there, but have noticed others had boxes of donuts and things, so the Inspired thought was, to get the auto shop a box of donuts. As there was a blizzard yesterday, and the roads were slippery, that event happened today. The reason for a second trip to town was I went to put on my coveralls this morning and The Puntz had decorated them for me, as the fell on the floor. There was a nice, loud, cat piss spot by my neck and having smelled some rank trap lures, this one would call things in 40 below weather. So the remedy was washing in town with Oxydol.

So I laid the plan out to  TL. We would do the laundry, go get the donuts, deliver the donuts, do the thrift store and then get the coveralls.

I am very thankful to God for His Goodness in His handling this, as the parts guy and service guy were the only ones there, and he smiled in wondering what I was doing back, and TL popped the donuts down and I said, "I wanted to thank you for all you did for us this past week".
He simply acted like a Gramma in being so pleased and surprised. He thanked me and I said Happy New Year and we were gone.
This would not have happened without someone donating. It is your doing something good to me, which allows me to sow good in your goodness in another act in this world. Those donuts are going to be remembered and bought me a great deal of good will there, and it will make their jobs easier when people are pricks to them.
I never chew any person's ass in business, because you need people. It is better to just not call them again or tell others they suck, because you piss people off, and the next time you need them, they will jerk you around or not show up like Nancy Reagan waiting all day for a plumber.

I think of that act  today and all the rich people who can afford to be nice, and never are, and never are thankful. That box of donuts cost 7.50. It is allot but it is worth more than gold. They were pretty donuts with designs and things and everyone likes eating pretty design donuts. By the reaction of this guy, people just do not appreciate their service and act like they expect it.
It is like the new manager of the grocery. He is the grandson of the owner, and I was putting carts back that others had not, when he came strolling out, said, "HEY", walked by a shopping cart to his new pick up.
I have seen his Grandfather putting carts away, and the old man thanked me for doing the job, but this kid does not appreciate a thing in what matters to people.

That is the lesson in this. People always remember the asshole, but in a world of ingrates, there are some people who remember someone who does something nice for them. We go the Viking's steak afterwards, and in return the donors got a box of donuts to feed the auto crew,  which is not much, but it will register that someone cares in this world and their grubby jobs are appreciated.

I could have raised hell with those people and I did not, and they knew it. I just acted stupid as I always do, and when I appeared again by God's Grace and Direction,  I surprised the people it would make an impact on, and when I return they will remember it. See goodness does amplify even in an evil world. It means more when there is such selfishness now. So for those who are in this with me, you found out about a Prophet's Reward added to your account in doing something good as that is the way it all works.

It is what the Christian Life is, you invested here and now you have more treasure for you in Heaven in God doing the work through me. Double return on the good deed investment. Better than what Wall Street or the banks promise.
