I read of a report of these preachers praying for the state of Israel, which puzzled me, and I moved on, as what Christians are praying for Jewry that denies Christians settlements in the state of Israel and deny Jesus as Lord, is pure blasphemy.
This morning though the Holy Ghost provided this Prophetic Bible reading on the state of Israel and Jewry. Most people will be surprised that God actually divorced Judah and made Prophecies of doom against the Jews, because they were as apostate then as now, and as apostate as Americans in their sodomy.
In the following, the Holy Ghost warns Jeremiah the Prophet to not pray for the Jews, of which Jeremiah was a Prophet to, because God is bringing evil on them for their denial of Him, and God will not hear them.
What followed was the Babylonian exile and captivity, when the last time Jews looked east to Arabs for safety, and the Arabs appeared and led them away with hooks in the mouth in defeat.

Chapter 1111 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.
12 Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.
13 For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.
14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
Be aware in what you pray in joining yourselves to deniers of Christ, lest a worst same fate become your penalty for defying the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
