As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
It is no secret upon these pages that the Lame Cherry adores President Richard Nixon, even with his being a socialist as the coup which brought him down, was the same one against Ronald Reagan and the same which framed Donald Trump, still did not undo the legacy of this profound leader.
Literally since President Nixon was framed by Watergate, every president has been reacting against to their great failures in Jimmy Carter to their great successes in Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, due to the Nixon Strategy. Richard Nixon had the most consecutive terms as president by the definition of his foreign policy.
That is why today in the thrift store, as I was starring at used books, I noticed one which leapt out at me in THE REAL WAR, by Richard Nixon. I immediately picked it up for 60 cents, and noted one in a jacket binding next to it, and took it over to TL, and mentioned it had a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORIZATION. I had not opened it, but mentioned that there was the other book over there, and that is when TL opened it up, and there was the real signature of Richard Nixon from 1980.
We went back and the other book had the same. What we had before us for 1.20 were a certified limited edition copy of The Real War and a signed copy of The Real War. I literally had in my hands two books which Richard Nixon touched and signed with his real John Hancock.
The thing is I knew the original owner of this book as his name was in it. His mom was the best friend of my grandmother and he became a multi millionaire. His stupid children though apparently sorting through shit and seeing Nixon, like the liberal women in the store, just got rid of the books without opening them or figuring out what they had were collectors editions.
In a fast search I found this:
Price - Avg: $271.34, Low: $9.95, High: $1,200.00.
I am figuring that I have around 1600 dollars worth of books for 1.20. The problem being is I will not sell them as this is the first item I have ever owned that has a real presidential signature on them. I have dreamed of having General Custer, Andrew Jackson, Ronald Reagan and yes Richard Nixon, and here on a day when I was just dinking around, I obtained what I have coveted most.
It is still soaking in as I am looking at these volumes in Richard Nixon touched these books and he really signed these books. They are now priceless for me and I have to figure out how to protect them and display them.
I wonder if the price will be really priceless now that I own them, in really double collectors items?
Nuff Said
