I will never figure JYG out.
So after the basketball hoop incident, I was looking at a smoker, and he had this cripple chair plugged in, so I figured I better not monkey around with the cords. As I got to looking at the chair, I was wondering if it was some wheelchair that some company built for a cripple, as the chair about chest high up in the air.
I could see someone had been welding on it, and it had me buffaloed until JYG was showing me how he is going to take the hand controls in the skid steer and make them foot controls.
It turned out, that he was doing the welding. He never really explained why the seat was so high, but he did say he had it out in the dark and was pulling donuts on the road with his dog on his shoulders. He said he got really dizzy as that thing really spun. So of course I was asked to take it for a ride, and I did, and yes I got dizzy as a bat spinning around on the street, where the cops are always driving by and so is everyone else. Where else does one play but there semi trucks are barreling down the road.
TL got to try it out too, long distance as it kind of pulls to the right, as it is junk and someone tossed it, but it is good junk in it works, has two dry cell batteries and a seat up in the air. I told JYG he needed to take that to the store to shop with, as why walk when you can ride.
Yes this all started out as work, yes work on the skid steer and I had to go see if I could find parts from the Tractor Whisperer, and spent 45 minutes there in looking at manuals, but it is a blast as grown men are always playing with the toys they invent and when they like you, you get to go be a child too and do things I would have gotten a ticket for. Kind of nice out on the road and having other people wondering what the hell you are doing and on what and they can't play.
I would have thought a chair that high would make it tip, but it was solid......JYG thought if you are a fatty though at 250 that would probably be too top heavy, but no one playing had that kind of bounce to them.
Anyway that is why I like life in the brier patch. The world is going to hell, but JYG is out welding parts off of my smoker onto his crip chair and we are burning donuts on the road as what else do you do when the world is going to shit.
