This Holy Ghost reading comes on November 13th of last year as I have been blessed with a bit of a margin in Sabbath Inspired posts.
The content is from II Corinthians Chapter 6 in which St. Paul is exhorting the rich Corinthians to show their hearts true nature in proving they are Christians in using the money God has given them to care for those who have needs, instead of hording it.
What St. Paul is speaking of in Chapter 6 though is for the rich and the poor to separate themselves out from their establishment friend and family.
11 We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you. 12 We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us. 13 As a fair exchange—I speak as to my children—open wide your hearts also.
Warning Against Idolatry
14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial[b]? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”[c]17 Therefore,
“Come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.”[d]18 And,
“I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.”[e]
As this vax hysteria has taken hold of people, I'm more convinced than ever that it was all designed to rip nations and families apart, just as Christ appearing made people choose Him or to reject Him and set families against each other.
The nonsense of fear has overwhelmed the majority and it should not be so. You should not even fear itself as Frank Roosevelt was wrong, as while you should acknowledge your fears, you should not be ruled by them as fear is a mechanism to protect you. But just as fear of the dark is irrational to the thinking mind, as it is just darkness, you take no counsel of it and boldly take the step forward and live your life to get to the light of the dawn.
Too many people though have riches and they are afraid they will die and lose them. They are going to die sometime and have them no more, so that is illogical. They should be placing their focus on Spiritual growth which is the real treasure in eternity. When you have an enduring honor, power, wealth in Heaven, that which is here is of no value.
Honestly when you die, people are not going to respect your will. They will do what they want with the things you left them as no one enforces anything. It is far more wise to invest in people now with money God gave you, so it is given the way you want, and a percentage of those people are then thankful and praising God for you, which elevates your standing in Heaven, as that is the only astute investement.
I realize there are rich people who say, "I set up a foundation worth millions. I gave thousands to charity", but when Christ looks at your portfolio, He will say, "The widow with the mite gave 100%, and you have millions, rationed out not even 10% of the wealth I gave you to care for others".
Remember the parable of the giving of a talent to people and those that invested it in people and gained return for the lender Who is God, were the ones rewarded. The ones who sat on it for their own security, had even that taken from them.
There is a definite time coming when your friends, associates and family will start reporting on you to the regime. You are instructed to only be with True Believers and not these spit warm pew sitters who would turn you in to be slaughtered, because they think a lie will send them to hell for saving a human life.
The lines are drawn these past years. Shut your mouths and stop telling people what your business is and stop acting like you are the Albert Einstein know it all. Exhibit self control of your tongue and stop deluding yourselves that you can hang around sinners and keep your sins you enjoy, as that has ruined and sent numbers of arrogant liars to hell.
So your question is to lie to yourself, have you fulfilled the above. Are you a fervent glowing believing fire in God or are you a spit warm pew sitter deceiving yourselves again in the answer you just gave.
