What Biden was engaged in, was a meeting on minerals. That surprised me as this was actually something which needed to be discussed. As I started researching the subject though, I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone with Sulu as a man instead of William Shatner.
What the meeting was focused on was a sweetheart deal of Crony Communists. Birther Hussein handed out billions to the fraud "green energy" in subsidies and then forced you to bankroll it in high energy prices.
With Biden we have something completely different in Biden is with the DOD which stole the election for the Dictator, is handing out money to mine rare earth elements inside the United States. This gets bizarre as the location is enviromentalist California and Gov. Gavin Newsom is the conduit for this OPEN PIT MINING.
You might remember when the cartel was overthrowing America, that open pit mining was hell on earth. Now it is accepted communist practice, with the focus on.............building those damned battery cars which are not going to work as they start on fire in the real world.

A grant of $35 million was also announced by Biden from the Defense Department to MP Materials Inc. for the purpose of processing rare earths, which are used to produce magnets for consumer goods and weapons.
MP already has received roughly $10 million from the Pentagon for controlling the only rare earths mine in the United States but relies on China to process the material.
In 2024, the company will have invested $700 million from its own funds and created more than 350 jobs.
The company has stated that it plans to start processing rare earths in California by the end of this year.
MP’s executive chairman, Jim Litinsky, told Biden the investments will enable MP to manufacture enough rare earth products to build half a million electric vehicles by 2025.
At the event, Berkshire Hathaway Energy Renewables also announced that it will begin construction this spring on a California facility that will test sustainable ways to produce lithium from geothermal brines at locations such as California’s Salton Sea.
According to last week’s report by Reuters, Biden also announced that the Pentagon plans to increase its stockpile of strategic minerals.
OK we are going to stop the communist environmental rapine bandwagon here to remind people that there are first not enough rare earth elements to build these damned cars. The second part is that these rare earth elements are TOXIC. If you missed the first quote above, it mentions that this location in California was discovered during the uranium boom in mining for nuclear weapons. In other words, the soil there is radioactive, it is open pit, so all that radioactive dust is being spread around, and the fun part is radioactivity just does not vanish. It contaminates things like even rare earth metals.
I did not have time to research who the cronies are in this, as it makes no difference. What intrigued me was the toxic California mine is opened up due to the war problems with China, as China holds all rare earth processing, and yet the communist Chinese own 10% of this corporation which Biden just awarded a sweetheart communist deal.

It is regarded as a world-class rare-earth mineral deposit. The metals that can be extracted from it include:[4] cerium, lanthanum, neodymium,[5] and europium.
As most of you have never heard of these "rare earth elements", they are of a family that oxides readily and the mining of them and processing is insane when you know this is going on in California.
Remember California has no water? Yet this mining is going to requires millions of gallons of water to wash away the base rock. After that is completed, then the tailings are subjected to chemical extraction which is another poisoning of the environment. This is why all this pollution was shipped to China as America could not have it. Now America is being transformed into a cesspool of pollution in California..........with Biden rewriting the centuries old mining laws to do it.
Ore processing
To process bastnäsite ore, it is finely ground and subjected to froth flotation to separate the bulk of the bastnäsite from the accompanying barite, calcite, and dolomite. Marketable products include each of the major intermediates of the ore dressing process: flotation concentrate, acid-washed flotation concentrate, calcined acid-washed bastnäsite, and finally a cerium concentrate, which was the insoluble residue left after the calcined bastnäsite had been leached with hydrochloric acid.
The lanthanides that dissolve as a result of the acid treatment are subjected to solvent extraction to capture the europium and purify the other individual components of the ore. A further product includes a lanthanide mix, depleted of much of the cerium, and essentially all of samarium and heavier lanthanides.
