I was speaking with our feed store guy and he mentioned that he had sold some sunflower seeds for birds and had done so before he checked the price of the shipment he just got in. He said sunflower seeds were up 19 dollars a bag. That is not 19 dollar a bag, but 19 dollars more a bag to feed birds.

In the above input prices, I desire you to understand something. When it costs 500 dollars an acre to put in beans and corn, a 30% mark up is a new cost of 650 dollars an acre.
This may not sound like that much, but most farmers are running almost a million dollars each spring in planting costs in GMO seeds, chemical fertilizers, fuels, chemical sprays and rent or taxes due.
So you might get a hint if you live somewhere near farm country and you see trucks moving at certain times of the year, farms are now businesses under Barack Hussein Obama and Joe Biden. Farms have to pay income taxes on money projected they will earn from last year's crops THIS YEAR and do this four times a year. Farm trucks are always on the move for IRS taxes in February, June, September and December, along with spring planting costs in selling grain.
Now for real numbers in a million dollars which you can understand. When a farmer has to pay 1 million dollars to plant a crop, a 30% increase means the costs will be 300,000 dollars more in operating expenses. That is 1.3 million dollars, 300,000 dollars more, when in a world of wheat shortages, wheat prices drop and other grains never go up 30% to match the increase in costs unless George Soros corners the grain market as in 2008 and suddenly his grain in storage is worth 300% more overnight.
Farmers get fucked over no matter what, in everything they sell. Cheating them is big business and how conglomerates make fortunes.
Farmers can not recover that 300,000 dollars. They either go into debt, wait for markets to rise or they have to eat that cost. How would you like to eat 300,000 dollars in new cost that you did not know were coming last year?
That is where we are at. Everything a farmer uses from tractors to planters and combines are all in the 150,000 dollar plus category. At 6 dollar diesel fuel it costs a farmer 1200 dollars to fill a 200 gallon tank, and that tank has to be filled every day. Try that price when you are complaining about 100 dollar gas tank fills.
Farmers can not pass these costs along. Oreos can and does though, along with Ford and every other conglomerate and you end up paying the costs across the board as every Ford has to buy paper for printing and even fuel, so that all gets passed along to you.

At the current rate of inflation, bread and gas both should be 8 dollars by fall per loaf and per gallon. The cartel wants that farm land so independent wealth is ended in America. PS: As an alert, HAARP is going to pump up the heat this coming week, to shrivel wheat crops and to put the heat index into corn and beans, as it has been so wet and cold for so long, the cartel has to make beans and corn grow 6 weeks worth of development in one week.
