My first contact with Ivana Trump was actually the first Trump I was even aware of. While Donald Trump was building his Gotham empire, his best asset was his wife Ivana. Mr. Trump had at that time just completed the Trump Tower, a masterpiece in New York. It was of all people that Bob Villa of This Old House out of Boston who reached out to the Trump's and it was not Donald Trump who was introduced to an entire, do it yourself and pointy headed audience, but it was Ivana.
It was part of the Trump marketing and she was exotic, sophisticated and beautiful. She fit the image of Trump, where Donald Trump never could or would. Ivana placed in Trump Tower the elegance of gold faucets and the glitz of diamonds. If you want to know Donald Trump, just look at his alternative football team in the New Jersey Generals in the horrid wincing sexualized cheerleaders or his bumbling at the Miss America pageant. Donald Trump was good at seedy in connecting with the masses. Ivana was that quality which put the shine on Donald Trump so he did not look cheap, but looked expensive.
I'm pleased for Ivana Trump that she had heart failure. It is about the best way to go. It is fast enough and is over before you really know you are dying. My people mostly die from heart attacks. It is a blessing to die that way.
I have no idea what Ivana Trump believed or if she is in Heaven or hell. I do know she was not a negative in this world. She was her own woman and for the drive of Donald Trump, she was the aspect which turned a pushy New York contractor into someone who America could embrace.
I always thought Mrs. Trump looked like Jill Ireland. It is rare that people who have looks, are not hindered by them, in they either do not develop abilities or they are destroyed by their looks. Ivana Trump was that exception, and she was a positive in this world which made it better by her being a disciplined character.
The Trump children benefited greatly in who they are in having a Mother like Ivana. My condolences to them as they now have to be adults like never before in their Mother is not there anymore to always consult to just make sure or to love them when they are stupid.
