The legacy of former FBI Director Christopher Wray can best be summed up as MADCAP.
In what is the reality of the weaponized and DEI'zed FBI, beginning with the John Ashcroft 3 of Robert Mueller, James Comey and Christopher Wray, Wray in knowing the abuse of power he had waged against Americans, astutely retired with the election of Donald Trump a 3rd time to the White House. There in though lays the problem of Mr. Wray, in he quit for the big retirement package and named his assistant, Paul Abbate, who said he agreed in the interim to lead the FBI until Kash Patel was consented by the US Senate.
Abbate lasted 1 day in his promise to stick things out.
“When the Director asked me to stay on past my mandatory date for a brief time, I did so to help ensure continuity and the best transition for the FBI. Now, with new leadership inbound, after nearly four years in the deputy role, I am departing the FBI today,” Abbate wrote in the email,
In this the "White House", then named one Brian Driscoll, a personal pick by former Director Wray. He in turn named another east coast Agent in Robert Kissane to be his deputy. The reason the word White House is in quotes is the media is not saying if this is Biden or the Trump Administration dealing with this.
If it is Biden, one concludes these are cronies who are supposed to engage in things to hide evidence from Kash Patel, and if this is Donald Trump, then we have a situation where you just can't lead the FBI and then step down to your lesser job. The end point being, no one in America trusts Christopher Wray or the FBI. We have now running the FBI a handpicked protege of Wray who picked someone he likes. The point in this is, Christopher Wray in leaving this way has destroyed the careers of 3 FBI Agents, in one retired early to get out of the investigative crosshairs and two others who are now suspect in all they are.
I looked at these two temporary leaders of the FBI and honestly in any other instance, you would conclude they are outstanding people. Driscoll led hostage rescue and was with NCIS and Kissane was in hostage rescue too. Both though are tainted in the FBI New York Office and in the Wray shadow of mistrust.

Christopher Wray did not do anyone any favors in any of this. We have 3 Agents who did not resign over all the abuse by the FBI from the Obama era Russiagate to the beating up of Americans like Paul Manafort and wife, Roger Stone and Wife and James O'Keeefe, along with fingering First Lady Melania Trumps underwear and in this woke era what took place in teenage boy Barron's underwear drawer is something no one wants to ponder.
We only have one agent who did resign when Wray dumped his chit load into his lap, and then two other agents who thought the brass ring of FBI leadership was some job builder. Anyone with sense looks at this, to quote Dr. Seusse in the Grinch who stole Christmas as "stink, stank, stunk". Anyone with sense would have said, "I don't want this job, leave me out of this, as I do not want to be tainted by Wray, as I want a career in the FBI.". Not the current inheritor leadership though for the FBI.
What the current employees of the FBI do not comprehend in new buildings and expanding budgets is the FBI needs to be trimmed. We have Homeland doing things and we have the FBI doing things. There is not a community which does not have SWAT, so why does the FBI had hostage rescue? For anything overseas, we have the Green Berets, Delta Force and SEALS. The FBI needs to get back to what Kash Patel stated in protecting and serving the public, and law enforcement in going after the worst criminals, instead of framing innocent Americans and running cover ups for their DC Pipe Bomber.
The leaving of Christopher Wray is the proof of the disaster the FBI is. I would believe that future Director Kash Patel is going to have to hire 100 handpicked loyalist leaders, and place them all in positions of leadership and have them sort through these DEI loyalists and replace them with the type of Agents that J. Edgar Hoover based as the prototypes of a federal law enforcement agent, because no one seeing any of that in the FBI for years.
Remember the lie we were told that the FBI was going to resign if Hillary Clinton was not indicted. Not one person resigned. There is just more of the same there who approve of this kind of abuse of power.
I never thought I was see the FBI as this kind of gene pool.
