As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
I know most of you will be saying what the hell is Tisas, but what they are, are people who took over the original 1911 COLT to Turkey, to the plan there and came out with a series of 1911 service pistols. I have never read a bad review on these firearms, and they are of better quality than the "American" brands with slop like Kimber or Colt.
I got to handle one of these in a 1991 A1 USMC model and they are impressive for weight and the secure feeling of a large gun in your hand that handles 230 FMJ ball ammunition.
When John Browning designed this revolutionary gun which has not been improved upon, it was designed to do one thing and that was to kill people in war, and it has killed allot of people. I realize that the ammo companies have zooped up the rounds with 185 and other hollow point loads, but the basic point in this is that a big hole put into someone who wants to harm you, does not need a bigger hole as people change their minds when a big slug knocks into their body. It is the ultimate debate point.
Tisas come in a number of models. I prefer the Marine Corp model as I like wooden grips. They appear with a nice plastic box that is cushioned, a spare mag, cleaning equipment, directions and a lock to get you killed while you fiddle with it while someone is bashing your head in.
These are substantial weapons. Yes they conceal carry, but you are not going to forget that weight on your person which is both comforting and solid.
The 1911 is probably one of thee most undemocratic of weapons. People could not afford them and in the military, mostly officers had them being issued. It has not helped over the years in the price was high, and then you have these fucking gun people who are always ripping them apart and having to put in new parts to make them whiz bang. That changed with the Fauci Flu as the Philippines was turning out as very nice pistol, which has been supplanted now by this Turkish sourced 1911 out of Tennessee, making John Brownings epic creation the first Republican 1911 which the public can afford.
MSRP is not what you can usually find them for. You can get them for 370 to 470, but you have to have the order in price, plus the use of a gun dealers license as the added cost. That is better than the cheap 750 and 1400 dollar 1911's which are out there and are not as well made.
I'm not affiliated with Tisas or promoting them. What I'm pointing out in a shit hits the fan reality, that this is the gun which would be something to have and save the almost 1000 dollars for other necessities.
I have been in love with 1911's since I first saw them in war movies. They are Euclidean beautiful. They are comforting and the kind of box package that this one comes with is flashing a stupid sign for those who would be able to use one and not get one.
I have one regret though. My brother is dead. No I do not regret he is dead. The more time passes, the more I am pleased God got rid of him. What I regret is that he was a Cabelas 9mm boy. I hate 9 mm's. Hate them worse than SEALS who got rid of those damned European things for the 45 caliber. Yes with the "right" ammo like Ted Nugent blasts bowling pins with, they are ok, but terrorists shoot people in the head and they don't kill them. I don't want to be in a life and death situation and have someone who is going to murder me, get up and murder me, when they have been shot. I want them to stay dead.
That is what a 45 does and why the military special units went back to that slug.
That is what I regret. I could now antagonize my brother again about that light 9 mm, like I used to piss him off with three words in this Winchester shotgun with, "that plastic gun" and he would look at me like he was eating sour owl shit. Just pleased me and still does as I love antagonizing gun people who think they should be at the Mount giving pointers to Jesus on the Beatitudes.
Brother would say shit back but I would just keep pumping "Yeah but this is a gun and a 9 mm isn't a real gun".That would delight me.
It does though .......it was just an experience to have as the gal behind the gun counter, she was saying how heavy this pistol was and then when we started playing with 100 rounds of 45 ACP, you find out that you could hit someone over the head with a box of shells and cold cock them too. These are substantial specimens from an era when the woke military did not exist.
No aluminum and no steal cases.
That is about all I have to say in million dollar knowledge to save you some money as the non donors sure save allot of money for the cartel to confiscate in that "no buying or selling" sticker on the hat brow spot or their palm pilot spot.
Oh and these pistols are better quality, cheaper, than the military dumps of 1911's which have been going on in that fucking scam where Americans buy weapons for the military and then the military thinks they are doing Americans a favor in selling them back to them. I mean what the fuck is that? They charge people twice for the gun and I never got a free one the first time around I paid.
OK that is it.
