No these are not sexy T series cyborgs, as they look more like the aluminum Gingerbread cookie cutters for Christmas, but the technology is there and if Peking has a working prototype, there is no doubt the demon technology has these metal borgs already shapeshifting around and with an Obama and Biden skin that makes them appear as human.

Dr Chengfeng Pan, from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, said: “Giving robots the ability to switch between liquid and solid states endows them with more functionality.”
His team also used the machines to remove an object from a model stomach and deliver drugs to the same organ.
As well as shapeshifting, the engineers say their robots are magnetic and can conduct electricity.
Dr Pan’s team made the new material – a “magnetoactive solid-liquid phase transitional machine” – by embedding magnetic particles in gallium, a metal with a very low melting point of 29.8C.

One has to understand AI as that is what would drive this as much as a magnetic field like 5G plus to keep the continuity of the metal along with self charging it, as from all expressions of AI, it is doubtful that AI on it's own is going to think humans are any more of a danger than a gnat to their existence. It would be a base element of conclusion, if something is a threat, the threat would be eliminated and then all else would be ignored.
This base metal of this is gallium, which if one does a bit of research, discovers it acts like iron salts in the body. This is a short version, but the vax was iron oriented as in the Pentagon's Iron Man to transform humans and this gel blood was conducting oxygen transfer so people were not rotting from the clots. Again short version, is gallium could be the next vax progression to turn people into something more durable and portable in a cyborg.
Yes it would be possible on such a platform just as Terminator, to pool people through whatever and reassemble them. The key is what the experimenters have found, there must be a magnetic field. I doubt that earth's magnetic field would suffice. It would have to be artificial like 5G+. These thing would then be self perpetuating.
The problems in this are the infant or reptile brain which is the core of AI. They would not have a semblance of reasoning, such as, a metal would need energy or it would cease to function. They would find some nuclear powerplant and suck the current, and if enough feeders were there and could not be terminated, then the plant would eventually go into meltdown and cause the metals their death by lack of electric current to absorb and end humans who would be dead by radioactive decay.

Science long ago outstripped humanity of the necessary curbs. We could have a world of metal immortals. Sort of like ghosts which would do no harm as long as you stayed out of their way in not being a threat to the current.
Program them as these geniuses would and they might start taking out gall bladders, and then move onto everyone in the world as that was their programming. There is not ever going to be a cut off swtich in these things, as someone already has a series that only stops on "their orders" and orders are not worth anything, when an AI is focused on being perpetual.
The only salvation in this is Christ, and the reality that a metal would view you like a mouse, and as mice are of no consequence, you would not be either on their evolutionary scale. Again though, they are vaxing people to transform them, and all that soul circuitry remains. A human having a taste for milk, might be a cyborg which throws nursing children to the floor and starts sucking a milk laden tit. The things you lust for are the imprints which are impulses which you mostly control, but in an absolute transformation of power, there would not be any reason to not indulge. I do not believe you want an FBI metal trying to keep a tit sucking metal from their lust, as two indestructible things would in a perpetual battle, eventually destroy the entire planet and every mouse or human who got in the way.
