Hot Wire in the City

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

I like helping JYG as I learn things. Apparently most all lawnmowers have the same key.....so JYG keeps on on his belt with other keys so he can start almost anything.

So someone junked a John Deere lawnmower and JYG was seeing if it would start as he wanted the engine for another project. He was showing me how to by pass the switch in the infamous "hot wire" to start a car.

I made a diagram to help me remember, but it is basically a jumper cable to the starter terminal which is hot and an electric wire to the hot coil terminal. You need a bigger cable to the starter as a small wire will burn out due to load. But that it is it. Am most grateful for the lesson as I have had this GMC truck which I have had problems with in something is not letting juice go through, and with hot wiring I can just wing this engine over and see how things go. I know the solenoid is probably bad, but now I can replace that and see how things go. If the problem is the switch wiring, I can just by pass all that chit and rid something up so I will not even need a key as the Brier laws are made for people who have police around to enforce them.

So someday my children, when the world burns down, you will probably not be put to hoof as you will remember the lesson here, be able to wire one of the millions of dead people's cars that will abound and drive off before the zombie get you.

You will probably thank me then and wonder how the popular girl is doing.
