One of the reasons, at about 20% cherry on top delight, I enjoy reading historical memoirs of real people observing things, is you can learn a thousand times more from them, than any historian or college degree doctored professor numbering a billion, as real people having real experiences are the experts.
In one of the final passages of the Cachalot, a whaler who has appeared here out of New Bedford with a very mixed crew of hardships, the following remembrance caught my attention, especially as the world has just shrugged off stranded polar bears and Al Gore climate change as some idiot egg heads are stuck in ice at Antarctica.
In the following passage, the author notes an interesting thing in not only an immense break up of the ice shelf, but a "berg" larger than some United States States or Territories.
"........on about the parallel of 48 deg. S., until it became necessary to draw down towards "Cape Stiff," as that dreaded extremity of South America , Cape Horn , is familiarly called by seamen. As we did so, icebergs became numerous, at one time over seventy being in sight at once. Some of them were of immense size—one, indeed , that could hardly be fitly described as an iceberg , but more properly an ice-field, with many bergs rising out of it, being over sixty miles long, while some of its towering peaks were estimated at from five hundred to one thousand feet high."

I place this here to reveal certainties of this, in what no climate change money grubber fraud will ever inform you, and in exclusive I will tell you the reality in matter anti matter.
First what makes ice but cold? So you have ice made just like forest brush is made from too much moisture. When all that forest duff grows it gets dry and produces a wildfire to rid itself of the fuel.
The same factor is true of icebergs in when you have cold, the world makes ice. The ice extends out into the sea, and finally gets so far out, that by sheer physics it reaches a stress point and breaks off. Sometimes in sections as large as states, when so much ice had been created by the freezing of the earth.
The above section is from the zenith of memoirs of explorers, which traces to Theodore Roosevelt, General and Libby Custer, Buffalo Bill to Col. Richard Irving Dodge. Those American tales of the late 1800's speak of an interesting reality in the world was quite cold in below zero temperatures. The reality is it has been an anomoly in the world from 1900 to 2000 in one hundred years of mostly pleasant weather.
Sometimes in those 100 years there were peaks in cold and heat. Antarctica reaching cold at different times and making huge amounts of ice, which then would break off and be reported in vast ice sheets which of course were called "global warming", but it had nothing to do with Arctic or Antarctic melt. You will note none of this propaganda ever took absolute historical references as to Continental or ice sheet size, and the reason is, it would prove the non sense of the "scientific theory".
It was very cold in the 1800s in the world, and the result was ice was made in quantity and the author rounding the Cape in South America noted the huge ice flows, not as some environmental disaster, but as a reality of nature.
Just as ice has been in record production the past decade when Al Gore was prophesying that the poles would be free of ice, there will come a time when that ice once again breaks off due to stress and not warming.
So you get this in Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter, especially if you are a snotty little bitch professorette at the University of Wisconsin whoring off global warming funding lying to the world, when ice melts it turns into slush and not ice bergs.
Ice break off is more due to sea storms than any temperature as it is a reality you can not weaken a glacier deep piece of ice. It does not break off from heat, but from stress fracture in weight and sea action in reaching break point in the ice structure.
Wow that should be another Lame Cherry Nobel Prize nomination and win, as this is all the first time stated and it is all exclusive here......... I doubt though I will be nominated nor win on this million dollar finding either, as it does not fit into the lies of the feudal take over of the world.

Oh and the above took place in what would be early spring in the Northern Hemisphere, meaning those ice flows were breaking off in autumn and not summer, just so some intelligent primate attempts to conjecture it was a "hot" summer in the Antarctic or a "hot" global warming autumn.
You make ice in the cold, and ice bergs are not made of slush.
