Gravitas and Ice

Listening to Stupidity

I happened upon a news feed from NBC radio in Kansas City and I really believe that America should just turn out the lights, pull up the shroud and shovel the dirt, because if Kansas is this shit for brains, then there is no hope.

The story was about the "cold" weather. Cold in Kansas is like 10 degrees. Cold like that in Montana has locals ridiculing you for daring to term 10 degrees as cold and not balmy.
I know cold and I have almost thrown up several times from the cold, as the cold will make you have nausea, just like extreme heat will make one sick. I can not tell that much difference between 40 to 20 below. I can though tell you that 10 degrees feels very warm compared to 30 below.
In reading Colonel Richard Irving Dodge of the Powder River Campaign against the Indian terrorists who were instigated to mass assassinate the Custer Campaign, was worried his men would become "over heated" in the cold, as it had warmed up to 20 below zero that day.
The doctor assured the Colonel that it was only 20 below and the men were not in any danger.

Cold is interesting as if you live in a cold area, and then end up in 50 degree Sacramento, you will have your coat off and laughing at the shivering pusses surrounding you. You get used to cold when you know what cold is, and it really is nothing people who live in the cold ever bother noticing.
It is like all these "feels like" or the wind chill index, as I have noted here. If you are stupid enough to stand out in a 30 mile an hour wind when it is 20 below, then you should freeze to death as a Darwin candidate, because only an idiot would be facing into a 50 below wind chill.
Normal people back into that kind of wind or unless an emergency stay home as it is intelligent.

Even stating that, in the Arctic, you would be laughed at for being concerned about temperatures like that, as the Arctic warms up to 20 below and 30 mph winds for a holiday from the real cold.

That is why I wonder about a place called Johnson County Kansas, or it is Kansas where the rich people all live who have bottle blonde hair, do not put on their turning signals as they are too important and have police who ..........well they manage crime like all police in poor people are criminals and rich people are above the law.
So the NBC feed was this, "there are no laws in Johnson County Kansas to keep people from walking on ice".

The ice would be lake ice which apparently had frozen, but the skirt doing the reporting was acting like there should be a law against walking on ice as it was dangerous in people could fall through.
Granted some military duck hunter when trying to get a duck, with a homemade boat that sunk, did drown, but that is beside the point in Darwinian culling, but the point is rich people in Kansas were wondering if there was a law against walking on ice.

It was worse as the "expert" was chattering on about needing 4 inches of ice for people to walk on. Maybe richtards in Kansas need 4 inches of ice in weighing as much as a Jeep, in being a thousand pounds, but when I used to play on the ice, it was standard that a few inches of clear ice would hold a person going iced fishing and 4 inches would hold a Jeep......and beyond that it was drive your pick up out on the ice in comfort.

What kind of world is it, when four year educated college experts have no idea what the hell ice is and what it will hold....and then is employed to lie to the public to keep them off the ice.

The best advice was the part in watching the birds, as in waterfowl I presume he was getting at, as birds do congregate in open water, being water birds, and the expert apparently did not know that waterfowl will keep open water open by being active in it, even at below zero temperatures.

This is frustrating to me in I know more than some 50,000 dollar Kansas college boy and the mic skirt announcer who is wondering if there is a law about walking around on ice.......like Minnesotans do, like Norwegian Vikings do, like Icelanders do in Iceland.....like Russians do in Russia.
A law against walking on ice..........

Yes there was even a disclaimer in Kansas or Johnson County was not libel if a richtard walked around on the ice and got hurt or drown........apparently expensive Kansas attorneys were being forewarned that no payments would be issued to idiots who fell through ice and hoped to blame the state and county for ..........cold weather.

This Obamamerica is a place where people have no God given sense any more as they have abandoned God. How damned stupid do you have to be to not have any sense or experience about ice?
We are not talking Alabama here where ice is something in tea. There should be some experience in cold and ice in Kansas, that cold and ice should not be a story.....and yet it was.

I have fallen through the ice on a marsh while trapping muskrats as it had gotten cold early and then warmed, so the inch of ice gave way in the rushes. Kansas though is a place where they brag that 741 people got killed in traffic hits in being the lowest since I don't know if it was 1947 or something.
More people go tits up from highways and yet there are no questions about driving when it is obvious tar is a greater threat with piles of cops and laws not protecting idiots from themselves.

My judgment is if the land of Kansas is so urban that it has no idea how to deal with ice and cold, then the American race is done. You have Chicago and New York whining about "blizzards" which are not blizzards in the least. A blizzard when it is real has like 50 plus mile per hours, and ice pellets in it, and probably dirt and other things blowing around in it. There is a difference between a snowstorm and a blizzard.

There is not a difference between a moron and an American now.  Apparently there is no difference between Conan O'Brien ripping off the Rush Limbaugh entertainment and Rush Limbaugh ripping off content from the Lame Cherry.

The new American intoxication, Gravitas and Ice. Americans apparently went extinct sometime in the 20th century.
Oh but there is hope in Jackson County Missouri does have a law about walking on ice........no news if this progressive law forbids ducks and geese walking on ice or if this is just a law to control human guinea pigs.
