A Dry Cloth
As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter......
I have decided to include the recipe for making cloth waterproof which is of interest in a time when one does not have access to toxic waterproofing or plastic tarps.
2 and a half gallons water.
10 ounces of lime
4 ounces of alum
Mix together and let stand until clarified.
Fold your cotton cloth loosely and put it into a container and pour on your waterproofing. Soak the material 12 hours.
Rinse with rain water and then stretch and dry in the sun.
That is now your olden days waterproof fabric.
I wonder in the future how many American cities are going to go up as tinder with no fire departments, no water and only damn fools fooling with open fires trying to keep warm.
