Introducing Belle
As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
As my children enjoy what we are up to, we introduce you to Belle. I do not know if the posts have come up about this rescue project, but this is what we have been struggling with in this nasty cold.
Belle, we rescued from what I deem were two lesbians who ran a puppy mill, but in this case a calf mill. From what I take it as, these big corporate farms that charge you your balls and ovaries now for milk, can not deal with all of these calves, so pedal them to these calf traders, who then dump them onto unsuspecting people who think they are getting a non dead calf.
It was a trick deal, in they had shit all over their tails when we got them, but it was dry. The better calf was first off the trailer, and then came Belle, whose eyes were running, and she looked like some African on the famine outbreak of 7 years.
I gave them terramyacin boluses which are big anti biotic pills, but this Arctic air and snow was just too much for this little waif. She about had her pilot light out the other morning, so the photo is a real one from the brier patch, in Mom's kitchen.
Yes most of you have nice things in your kitchens, but in order to save this calf, she had to be brought in, bundled up, a heat lamp put on her, and we had to give her 3 cc's of some bionic blaster anti biotics, that I still had at around 100 dollars a bottle for the goatikins when they were getting sick last year.
Belle had snot by the volume coming out of her nose.......the other calf had decided to suck and chew on her ears when she was sleeping, so they bled, and she looked like death. Amazing thing about TL and prayers though, as after sleeping all day, we got her up last night after supper, and she ate her other pellet meds and some cracked corn.
Things are going good, as I think she shit 3 feet of poop as of last night and pee'd a goodly amount to fill a bowl.
Belle likes sugar water.......you give that for energy and electrolyte stuff and she is munching on grass hay out of a box.
These Jersey's are interesting in this one is better trained than a puppy. She knows where her spot is on the blanket, and she lies down to sleep, and has a real affection for getting covered up.
Earlier today, she was waiting for me to get the hell out of the way, as she was ready for a nap, and I did not understand she was trained that way yet.
So this is the adventure......another animal saved from some heinous ass people. I would that those big Obama diary farmers would get their ovaries put in the rack as this is a real problem it seems, as bad as horse dealers and puppy mills, but no one cares about cattle, and this little one is really in horrid shape. She actually looks 100 times better than we got her, as you can see her coat is rough......her eyes are clear and TL noticed a cyst on her jaw line, which is from animals under stress. That should clear up with some TLC in time, and as of the reality that in this cold, we have not a dog, a cat or a fish in the kitchen, but a growing bovine.
I always noted the Norwegians camped out with cattle in their homes...........I guess the Viking is wearing off on me some, and I sort of like this.......I had no idea that little dairy creatures could be this sedate. If we could figure out the hydrant and fertilizer production, this is not such a bad deal at all.
As of this, the reality is, Belle in order to survive is going to have to stay in the house. Nothing in this is regular, but then it is just what is necessary to do in order to keep a creature alive and not dead.
TL says that big lezbos apparently were a turn off like big bovines for Belle, as when we got her, she did not want a great deal to be touched or to be even noticed......along with being constipated...
Oh yeah, this is the thing, I think the lesbians dehydrated the calves to keep them from having loose stools, as the one lez said. "I think that one calf needs water."
Novel way to torture animals to appearing healthy in dehydrating them. Belle though was stove up, but is no longer......now back to the story.
So Belle was not social at all, but now the little critter is a changed person in being loved and desiring to be loved. Is an amazing turn around God and TL have come up with.
So that is the good deed we are doing and now you know as you sit in your fine homes, with fine things.......we got a Viking thing going on here in order to save a life.....is an adventure and what else would we have to do, but watch television or be online.
