Anyone's name is an important thing. The English used to pound on locked doors and demand them opened in the name of the king, because the king had entire police state behind him. If someone were to go out and commit a crime in your name, it would be a most serious thing for you. All of these and more are the reason that the Name of the Lord is to be set apart and joined to ceremonies to achieve an agenda.
I provide for you an amplified understanding of HALLOWED so that you will comprehend the depths involved here.
Hallow: Render holy, set apart by religious ceremony.
Bless, Conscecrate, Sanctify
Consecrate: Solemnly dedicated to or set apart for a high purpose
Bless: Empower
Sanctify: Make pure or free from sin or guilt
What I am about to say is not to besmirch the Name of the Lord for it is vital and pristine. All of you know though that you have prayed to GOD and gotten results immediately, just as you have prayed to Jesus, instead of that Yeshua Name and gotten the same actions from God. Here am I not stating that you can name God something like Judy, but if a person reverenced that name as God's, then God would respond.
I state that for the reality that it is ridiculous these people that keep quoting YAWEH as the Name with the Jew making a Spock Star Trek sign for it, compare to JEHOVAH, as if one were superior to the other. For me, here am I a poet. I work in wordcraft. The Y sound is softer to me and personally wimpy. The J sound is more authoritarian and I like that. So I utilized Jehovah, just like I utilized Father, because God knows where the Spirit in me is aimed at, and that here am I speaking to Him.
All God's Names are Hallowed. They are to be not misused no more than you would not appreciate your name being called out when the tramp next door is fornicating with some liberal deviant calling out "oh God, oh God, oh God".
There is reason for the isolation of God's Name, and it is because when that Name is used, the Name activates God in all His creating and consuming forces.. One switch throws an entire nuclear power plant into generating power. One Name does the same.
The First Petition
Hallowed be Thy Name.
What does this mean? God’s name is certainly holy in itself, but we pray in this petition that it may be kept holy among us also.
How is God’s name kept holy? God’s name is kept holy when the Word of God is taught in its truth and purity, and we, as the children of God, also lead holy lives according to it. Help us to do this, dear Father in heaven! But anyone who teaches or lives contrary to God’s Word profanes the name of God among us. Protect us from this, heavenly Father!
There are not any explanations in the Bible, only references in the Name of the Lord. By this I mean, no one ever says who revealed God's Name to people. We only know that Jehovah became actively used. It was in the time of Seth, the son which Eve bare to Adam, the first man, after Cain murdered righteous Abel, when Seth's son Enos was born, that the expanding population of the world began to call or activate the Name of the Lord. It was because of the Authority, Power and Results of utilizing that Name.
Genesis 4:26
And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
This Name as is revealed in II Kings, by the Prophet Elisha, has a most interesting Spiritual Judgment with it, as some heathen brats were taunting Elisha to "rise up to Heaven as Elijah did", and mocking him for his bald head, and Elisha with a double portion of Spirit cursed these brats and a bear appeared which killed the entire heathen lot.
Authority, Power, Results, that is why the Name of the Lord is set apart.
II Kings 2:24
And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
King David understood the Hallowed Name, and he utilized that Authority, Power and Results to empower the people, or bless them. The Life giving force went into the people and everything from their safety, to their crops, to their cattle, to their baking was all enhanced by the Name of the Lord.
I Chronicles 16:2
And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
God's Name is Almighty. It overcomes entire nations and their vast armies. Jesus is the Lord of the Battle, not nuclear weapons. God has overthrown empires as His Name is Supreme.
Psalms 20:7
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Again Isaiah the Prophet reveals the Consuming Flame which is the Name of the Lord. That Name is perfection and it simply consumes imperfection in it's midst. It is perfect is frequency and shatters all that is imperfect. When God's Wrath is poured out in His Name, the homosexual robbers of Sodom and the prosperous cities of the plain were vaporized. Again, Authority, Power, Results
Isaiah 30:27
Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with His anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: His lips are full of indignation, and His tongue as a devouring fire:
The multitudes when Christ appeared on Palm Sunday before Passover, were in mass praising Christ as the One Who came in the Name of the Lord.
Matthew 21:9
And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
There are Old Testament penalties involved in this also as people who make claims they speak for God and do not, were to face state public executions. The reason being that when God's Wrath was activated, the entire nation would die because they had followed the deception and allowed blasphemy in the Name of the Lord.
Zechariah 13:3
And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
St. James is the last Scripture I quote, because for all the consuming, God's Name has all Life Giving Force in the Name. That Name has healing in it as Christ's wounds have healing in them. Everything in this world has a light at it's core, which I define as the God Light. It is a matter reflection in this dimension of God in Heaven. It is His connection, it is the neutral energy which when infused with the Name of God in the Light of God, prospers and produces bountifully. It is a blessing or empowerment this Name and why this Name is to be Hallowed.
James 5:14
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
We have now activated God's Name in our Father, established that His Name is complete in Authority, Power and Results, that now what Christ teaches is the next step in Christian praying in the establishment for our Peace and Prosperity of the Kingdom of God now and into eternity.
