I have hopes for a movie which will be making the rounds by the time you read this, in it is Uncut Gems.
I will be the first to state, that I have loathed Adam Sandler for his entire career, as he is simply horrid, not funny and has no talent. His entire repetitive was mimicking a Sandler sized King Kong. Sandler was beyond disappointing in everything he did.
That appears to have changed, and honestly for a movie project if I had funding, I had wanted to cast Adam Sandler in a dramatic role, as I always thought he had it in him to be a real acting star.
In April 2018, Adam Sandler joined the cast of the film, replacing Hill. He was the original choice to star in the film, being approached for the role in 2009, when the Safdies came up with the film. However, at the time, he declined the role. In August 2018, Eric Bogosian and Judd Hirsch joined the cast of the film
It pleases me that Judd Hirsch, whose performances are always superb and Eric Bogosian who is always solid have joined the cast. Yes there is too much Jew in this Jewish film about Jews, but I do not expect to see Chinamen in Roots. I just would like someone to explain why this is not racist, not in my noting a Jewish majority, but why a minority population, is allowed to not cast non Jews in roles about Jews?
What this is about though is Adam Sandler is finally coming to a place where if Christ does not return, that for the next 20 years, he should begin dominating roles and actually help shoulder the burden that the greatest actor ever, Joaquin Phoenix in saving Hollywood.
I sincerely hope the best for Adam Sandler and hope to watch his work, which I hope is not some Jewish suffering unhappy ending, like they basically did to Planet Terror.
Adam Sandler has had to wait as he was Jewlisted by Hollywood in not getting roles for being a Conservative. I hope that he is able like Mel Gibson to become powerful enough to be above it all.
