My Bible reading was Isaiah Chapter 34 and on this day am moved to place this in context so that you are not caught unaware.
Isaiah 34
Chapter 32 is the transition in the time line, for what the Prophet is moved by the Holy Ghost to reveal in 34. 32 begins with a king ruling in righteousness, the Holy Land having vile people in it, who are not defined as vile, and in verse 15 the reference of the transition appears in UNTIL THE SPIRIT BE POURED OUT ON HIGH. That date is definite in First Fruits or Pentecost.
Never think that God tarries, as what Isiaiah the Prophet is revealing from the Holy Ghost is a several thousand year time line, and this time line is all connected by human actions.
9 You women who are so complacent, rise up and listen to me; you daughters who feel secure, hear what I have to say! 10 In little more than a year you who feel secure will tremble; the grape harvest will fail, and the harvest of fruit will not come. 11 Tremble, you complacent women; shudder, you daughters who feel secure! Strip off your fine clothes and wrap yourselves in rags. 12 Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vines 13 and for the land of my people, a land overgrown with thorns and briers- yes, mourn for all houses of merriment and for this city of revelry. 14 The fortress will be abandoned, the noisy city deserted; citadel and watchtower will become a wasteland forever, the delight of donkeys, a pasture for flocks, 15 till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.
Chapter 33, begins with Woe to those who spoil. That can be everyone from Wall Street portfolio holders, to the cartel, to those who see the needs of others and throw crumbs or do nothing.
Jerusalem will be at peace, and life will be healthy.
14 The sinners in Zion are terrified; trembling grips the godless: "Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?" 15 Those who walk righteously and speak what is right, who reject gain from extortion and keep their hands from accepting bribes, who stop their ears against plots of murder and shut their eyes against contemplating evil- 16 they are the ones who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. Their bread will be supplied, and water will not fail them.
This assessment of the current era is Prophetic, but that changes as Chapter 34 opens.
God orders the nations to come hear and hearken, for the indignation against all nations by the Lord is full.
It is a time of massive armies, but what follows is the declaration that the Lord has destroyed them all.
1 Come near, you nations, and listen; pay attention, you peoples! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, the world, and all that comes out of it! 2 The Lord is angry with all nations; his wrath is on all their armies. He will totally destroy[1] them, he will give them over to slaughter. 3 Their slain will be thrown out, their dead bodies will stink; the mountains will be soaked with their blood. 4 All the stars in the sky will be dissolved and the heavens rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree. 5 My sword has drunk its fill in the heavens; see, it descends in judgment on Edom, the people I have totally destroyed.
The host of heaven shall be dissolved and the Lord's sword will be bathed in blood in heaven. This is Armageddon, as what follows is an absolute burning pit devastation of this region, which is specifically noted. It is of interest that the same reference is to the Daughter of Babylon as a haunt of owls.
The place targeted by God is Idumea and her capital. For those ignorant of the Idumeans, they are the Edomites, the son of Isaac, who was Esau. This region was south of Jerusalem, but those people now reside in Turkey. The Babylonians have settled in Italy in the modern age, and the other adversary of the Samarian Israelites in the Assyrians are in modern Germany.
Edom's streams will be turned into pitch, her dust into burning sulfur; her land will become blazing pitch! 10 It will not be quenched night or day; its smoke will rise forever. From generation to generation it will lie desolate; no one will ever pass through it again. 11 The desert owl[2] and screech owl[2] will possess it; the great owl[2] and the raven will nest there. God will stretch out over Edom the measuring line of chaos and the plumb line of desolation.
Edom (/ˈiːdəm/; Edomite: 𐤀𐤃𐤌 ’Edām; Hebrew: אֱדוֹם ʼÉḏōm, lit.: "red"; Akkadian: 𒌑𒁺𒈠𒀀𒀀 Uduma; Syriac: ܐܕܘܡ) was an ancient kingdom in Transjordan located between Moab to the northeast, the Arabah to the west and the Arabian Desert to the south and east. Most of its former territory is now divided between Israel and Jordan. Edom appears in written sources relating to the late Bronze Age and to the Iron Age in the Levant, such as the Hebrew Bible and Egyptian and Mesopotamian records. In classical antiquity, the cognate name Idumea was used for a smaller area in the same general region.
In Isaiah chapter 34, God in duality Prophecy, is stating that Turkey is going to be a burned out crater. As some of these events did not take place the first time this Prophecy appeared, in the heavens disappearing, or the Spirit of God poured out, this is a modern Prohecy which the Holy Ghost directed me to on Thanksgiving.
In assessing what the Bible states specifically, there appears to be a time in the not too distant future, where everything from Berlin to Rome, and in a triangulation down to Armageddon will be a death zone. The uninhabited area will be most of central and eastern Europe. The defining terms of owls and cormorants indicate animals of the dead trees in what they perch in.
At Armageddon, people will be tasked to burying the bones of soldiers for a number of years. It is after all a 200 million person army destroyed there.
That is not to say that every one else gets off free. Seers not in the Bible and George Washington have had visions of epic proportions for other peoples, including the United States.
This though is what the Holy Ghost provided for my Bible reading. I only pray, "Lord Jesus come quickly", as the sooner Christ establishes His Father's Kingdom on earth by force, the better it will be for the few good people who are not yet exterminated in this evil age.
These Prohecies are coming. There is not a doubt about that. In the chapters there is a time line, and the world is in the end of Chapter 33 and Chapter 34 awaits.
8 For the Lord has a day of vengeance, a year of retribution, to uphold Zion's cause.It has not been a historical accident that Turkey has become a flash point in this era, nor that a new empire of Europe is arising to challenge the world.
