As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
I just love being treated like a poor alley whore in bringing you this blog, as you sit in your luxury and wonderful world of unlimited internet, and I have just spent a half hour trying to figure out why this laptop did not work, when it worked in town.
See I have to go to the public library to download things or I lose bandwidth. So to town we went, as BiblePlus will not work on Windows 7. Oh it did work and then it stopped working, so all I could get was ESword, which is what this review was to be about, but as I sat down, the internet would not turn on and I have a damned mosquito buzzing me.
So I checked another laptop and that worked. So it was this laptop which was working fine.
So I check our hotspot........for some reason that was turned off as we had to take the phone along to town as we were getting the pick up serviced, 2 months late in taking care of Uncle.
So I check again........no internet.
I get to checking around and while I have never found it on this Dell, there on the side the guidance said, was a switch, with a RED LINE that stated the internet was turned off.
I did not turn it of. TL did not turn it off, and yet, there it was turned off.
It is obviously now working as you are reading this in your comfort and luxury.
I checked ESword and it has changed from the original I had which I liked better in the various dictionaries and lexicons that came with it. Now it is kind of prego Bible Plus, but not as nice.
Oh it has as you can see loads of windows in additions you can download, but .........I just killed that damned mosquito and may all of you heartless rich people get the same treatment from God.
But........it is not user friendly and I dearly miss BiblePlus as it was small, had a fantastic search engine, and between piss and lemonade, I think when I reload things, I am going to go to XP again and work things out with that, as I work on a computer and have no time to play or dink around. I do though need some kind of Bible program to do word searches on and load Bible verses for the lessons which post here.
It has been a trying week in being sick. It has been exhausting in this weather, and shit happens here which just wears me out, and now I am tired again after having to fix this computer that mysteriously had things changed, like the phone being a hotspot somehow was turned off when we got home from town.
I know none of you are going to download the program, but I will probably get used to it, because I have to get used to it, as that is all I have now in being an orphan and in poverty. I do hope that God visits upon Bill Gates and all these moneychangers who screwed up computer programs, so you can not use the old ones, have to find updates which are big and do not work, and I do not have the time to figure out how to make Bible Plus work on Windows 7.
And no, going into properties and setting up for Windows 7 does not fix the problem for poor orphan girls.
Just thinking about rich mosquitos now, as the rich don't need............
