This blog enjoys being the bearer and barer of bad news, and no the title is not a misspelling, because when I hear people like Bill Cunningham ranting with George Noory on the radio "That we got to get this economy moving", and Donald Trump releases statements that he wants to open up the country again by Easter and is about to restart the economy, the President is a naked as the emperor without clothes, because he has absolutely not any say in the matter.

75% of the Americans are quite content to live in the security of Coronavirus. They have experienced enough of this America which is not MAGA and want to set it out. In that, the President is losing the reality and biting off more than he can chew, because when Governor Cuomo of New York says Broadway is shut down, it is shut down. Donald Trump can do nothing about it.
When Governor Newsome of California says the bars are closed, the bars are CLOSED and staying that way.
When Governor Noem of South Dakota says schools are closed until May 1st, the schools are staying closed and Donald Trump can't do a damn thing about it.
The President is listening again to Goldman Sachs and those types who have lost money in this bloated market and have convinced the President to joust at this windmill, when he has nothing to joust with. The President should be stating, "We are working with the Governors, and in the states where the pandemic is under control, those areas will be brought back to full functionality as we address the needs of areas which are still vulnerable".
It is just unConstituional what Donald Trump is stating. Unless he is suspending rights, and moves into states like Lincoln did in Maryland to overthrow the government there, Donald Trump can no more make any state under quarantine go off quarantine, than he can appoint Don Jr. as the Earl of Pennsylvania and offer him the few virgins left there.
The President could open up domestic flights again, and let Italians, Chinese and Iranians pour into America to reinfect it, but that would seem stupid as that is what caused all of this. The fact is save for dumping money to the players on Wall Street and calling out the National Guard, Donald Trump's power as President inside the 50 states is meager, and it was meant to be that way by the Founders. The States govern themselves, and are not governed by Donald Trump.
That is where Trump advisors have again gotten it wrong as the President should not be attached to this in placing the entire responsibility on him, because he simply can not open up the United States, and the fact is there will be other waves of this infection, and when it does come, he is going to be ridden out of office by the coughing Joe Biden, as Americans are not going to stand around and be endangered by President Trump.
The President again needs some Protestant Conservatives forming policy for him, as those he has have their heads up their asses again, and are setting him up for political problems.
Frankly, we are approaching the end of the first week of separation,m and the numbers are looking very good across the United States for the most part. If we have another good week, next week, then the policy of cautious progression is placed upon the Governors. Donald Trump needs to take credit for every success and lament the failures of Governors as he helps to overcome their problems.
Otherwise he is going to be consumed by nitwits like this quote from an article blaming Donald Trump for this outbreak on some non sourced person who said a pandemic is what gave his company cold sweats.
This quote says that FDR at Pearl Harbor, Carter in the Iranian Revolution and Bush in 9 11 knew nothing, which all of course is bullshit, as Donald Trump knew less about the germ labs in China than FDR who sent the carriers away from Japan to not be bombed, Carter is the one who caused that revolution in Iran for militant Islam to fight Russia and the Clinton's Jamie Gorelick made the walls of separation so the FBI and CIA would not discover Clinton crimes, and in 9 11, the FBI locals were warning of a Muslim problem, but were ignored.
In short, the Trump administration forced a catastrophic strategic surprise onto the American people. But unlike past strategic surprises—Pearl Harbor, the Iranian revolution of 1979, or especially 9/11—the current one was brought about by unprecedented indifference, even willful negligence
So let us all face the fact that Donald Trump is naked on Coronavirus in starting an economy or lifting quarantines in states. He is the President, but his powers are granted and limited. The Governors of the States run this country on Coronavirus and that is the fact, and if they say America stays shut down to protect their people...........America stays shut down, no matter how much the money grubs whine.
