Managing the Estate

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

So it is no secret that uncle left the building.

The problem is the shape he left the building in.

In one day's walk through of checking on security issues, I discovered his heating system probably almost killed him or burned down the house. The grass has been mowed to the roots, so the grass is dead, as in this country, we have droughts which kill the grass..........and guess what happened? The grass is dead.
The thing is, today in going over and starting to rectify things, the same money grubbing assholes that the uncle replaced us with, just MOWED THE DEAD GRASS AGAIN. Nothing like milking an estate in killing the lawn and then mowing a dead lawn.

I noticed that the mowers drank Busch beer, as they left them on the side of the building, they also tore off the electric wiring on a utility pole. That must have been a jolt in hitting a pole with the mower.

Then there was someone, probably Big Hoss, the kid, starting a trash fire and trying to burn the place down......but why should I notice that as I was busy on the roof, repairing again another fuck up of a fuck up which I posted on here last year, which still has me steamed.

So the guy who was asked to fix the roof, got some Nigger rig kid, who used such cheap materials that when I asked the lumberyard guy about it, he said that shit is so bad that he won't even carry it.

OK so a brief time past explanation. Uncle for some reason took an old chicken shed, and raised it two feet, put in electricity, the whole 9 yards. Uncle being old, the roof started to leak, and what it did was dry rot that white on boards.

Instead of fixing it, I discovered what the asshole who he got to fix part of the roof did. Now remember the boards are rotten, so he took regular plywood, but not regular 1/2 inch, no he got 1/4 inch which is expensive, and he put that down on top of all the rotten shit.
Somehow he got it to stick, because his next feat was to put tar paper or ridge roll down, no underlying felt or tar paper, just this shingle stuff, which I discovered was thin as could be too.

So asshole, nails this down, just on the ridges, not on the ends, and as the wind hit it this year and pealed it back like a banana, I discovered rotten plywood on the edge and this shitty ridge roll has holes in it.
As the point was to try and stop any more damage, I pulled the nails, nailed it so it would hold, and put in a line of shingle nails too far up where the plywood is not rotten, and informed the children of the uncle what a wonderful con job which they paid for.

Honestly, being crooked like this never occurs to me. I will not screw people over to make a fast buck and I will not do a shitty job. Doing things like this, just costs people double what a good job would in the first place. You might as well do it right so it stays fixed for 30 years, instead of this every few years things falling apart.

I had hope in this place for us, but I wonder about all the hidden disasters over there, because there are myriads of them. The corral needs all new posts. That will be a delight in 50 posts at 35 dollars is .......yes 1750 dollars for a pile of lumber which you can not get any joy out of.

For those of you who have old relatives, just know they are being cheated by the people they trust, and when you have to go sort through things, you are going to find all of these disasters.

Gee Uncle fucks up, and guess who is fixing his fuck ups again?
