This better work
As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
For some reason my projects are unknown, as when I look online to see what others have tried, the searches come up empty.
For example, I am trying to put a woodstove into a cellar, which of course requires a chimney and I am not going to run it through the house, as I will not do that, and as the chimney is used by a propane furnace, so I will not screw that up.
But in looking in how to put a chimney out of a basement, there is absolutely nothing online of any value. One reference was coming out of a window. I have no windows, and two walls I would have to dig through 10 feet of dirt, one wall is full of water and fuel pipes and all I have is an old entry which will get me close to the outside wall, where I had to design a chimney which begins underground for a few feet, and the rises past the roof.
It all sounds hard and is. I also have to have a way to clean the thing out when finished as soot accumulates and whatever else, so that leaves me with this design, as I have to use premade concrete and chimney blocks as I can not afford to get a truck in here, and pouring forms and metal to hold it together will be even more work, so the easiest is concrete in bags, and these blocks.
This is the rough white print of the contraption. The back part behind the double insulated chimney hole will be open with a door to clean it out. I am going to have at least 12 feet of horizontal double insulated chimney pipe to get to the chimney, but as it is rock and dirt, metal nothing will catch fire and I should not have any problems with draft sucking the smoke out, as heat rises and air currents cause suction.
Yes this thing is as major project among many in this just to keep warm. Is not like the old days of clay and sticks for Daniel Boone's chimneys.
Thank God I perfected designing things in my head like rolling kabballah geometric patterns around in my brain. It exhausts but I put things into digital so I do not have to remember what I was Inspired to create.
Oh well, no time to waste, I am posting this on the fly as have a number of miles to play with today before I can sit down and accomplish some more work here.
