The BATFE a few weeks ago went after gun owners in again in another unregulated "brace stock" for handguns. It is not worth going into as the regulations are stupid in sawed off shotguns, barrel lengths and stocks in what is a pistol or a rifle.
The BATFE though just as suddenly backed off. This is not because 48,000 comments were on this, or some Congressmen were asking questions. Something else is involved in this as Pedo Joe Biden does not give a damn about denying Americans more of their rights.
The ATF has suddenly and unexpectedly backed off on its efforts to force owners of pistol braces to register their firearms equipped with them under the NFA.
“Upon further consultation with the Department of Justice and the Office of the Deputy Attorney General, ATF is withdrawing, pending further DOJ review, the notice and request for comments entitled, “Objective Factors for Classifying Weapons with ‘Stabilizing Braces’,” that was published on December 18, 2020,” said ATF Associate Deputy Director Marvin G Richardson in a statement on Wednesday.
“The withdrawal of the guidance does not change any law, regulation, or other legally binding requirement,” added Richardson.
As Pedo Joe wants to confiscate AR 15's that is already a flashpoint, so I doubt the BATFE was worried about a brace stock flashpoint. That leads to a conclusion that President Donald Trump is going to be President, and the BATFE does not want to end up unemployed. You will remember before Trump got elected the first time, BATFE was acting all Gun Owner Friendly as those in power sent out the word. That is the straw in this in BATFE is a political weapon, and for them to be put back into their holster means something else is going on.
