As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
St. Paul Inspired by the Holy Ghost in the doctoral teaching of the Hebrews, those Hebrews which Americans and the Peoples of the West are descended of in the Lost 10 Tribes, with a message, not just 2000 years ago, but for every generation, including this last generation.
The Lame Cherry is going to provide you the King James Version and the Message Bible version in full. I also am going to give you the Lame Cherry Holy Ghost version, as in Paul's writing, it is necessary sometimes to edit the flow to convey the complete content of meaning. Below is the King James, and below that will be the Holy Ghost version through me for this time.
Therefore leaving the principles [1] of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment
This is the Lame Cherry expanded learning.
Therefore building beyond the foundation of Christ in our need to keep the Law, as we already understand that, which exposes our need to repent and change from the evil we have done, and understanding that even good works without Faith are dead without Christ, let us go forward from this physical Law which we will continue to keep, and be transformed into the Spiritual Perfection of Christ, built upon the foundation of the Law, based not in Law of seen and felt sin, but in the unseen which requires Faith in God alone.
Let us build in the Gospel of Baptism in washing us clean in the Blood of Christ and the Regeneration of our convicted selves in the Law by the work of the Holy Ghost, the laying on of Spiritual Hands in the accomplishing good in the power of God, the resurrection by Christ Living of the dead, and of the rewards and punishment in eternal Judgment.
It is always difficult to contain the Word of God into the compressed genius of the Holy Ghost or of the Word of Christ. God can explain in a few words, which takes volumes to explain, and in numbers of cases theologians get it wrong and stand as a barrier as large as the pope between the Faithful and their God.
Each of us must be aware of the solemn and forever changing event which is the Life of a Christian. All mankind is born with the breath of life in our souls. The soul is like a flower bed in front of your house. If you leave it, soon enough without God and your working that soil with Spiritual Word, the things of the world get piled up on it, sometimes toxic things happen like weed spray of heinous sins, and maybe your boat gets parked on it and next thing you know is nothing will grow in that soul.
Sometimes in that neglect, the devil, like a drug grower, sneaks in with ideas you think will make you rich, popular or give you things you desire instead of God, and soon nothing good will grow there in towering marijuana plants, dopers stealing drugs, trampling on things, raping and murdering on your front lawn, so no good person will ever come near that and the Word of God has no place there, and you are Spiritually dead.
But for the Christian, the soul is a place of Life. Into this is tilled the Word. The Word of God sprouts Faith and the Holy Ghost is sown in and soon a Garden of Eden flowers in all kinds of abundance. Little seeds growing into running vines of helping others. Little seeds of good things done are blessed into trees blessing fruit in the entire neighborhood. In God, the soul of you by His Holy Ghost, changes for good all around you and beyond.
There is a fourth condition St. Paul warns of, and that is the soul, which is sown with eternal Life in the Holy Ghost, who thinks it can grow sin, and is overtaken by satanic weeds, and this perpetual weed patch is condemned as it is no longer a soul which can be brought to life again, but is toxic ground which grows enmity forever toward God and good.
You have the responsibility to never reject Christ nor blaspheme the Name of the Holy Ghost in deliberately taking the Gift of Life and making it into the sentence of eternal death. There is no return from that decision by the sinner.
The Saved though have before them the Christ, the High Priest, Who is the Promise of Life, and we are not to be ignorant in thinking once saved that we are finished. The seed does not sprout and stays a sprout, but the sprout is intended to grow, flourish in all adversity, putting roots down in Faith and bringing a crop in Christ's example for the Glory of God.
Jesus was not finished being born in a manager. Jesus was just beginning a lifetime in discipline to complete the Will of the Father which God had for Him.
Each of us has many purposes throughout our life here, in not just praying, Biblical study and Spiritual Growth, but to put that Christian Life into this world for Good. Too many times people think their life's work is some one thing, when it is many things. What seems unimportant in grand parting of waters is so very important to one person in something that goes unnoticed.
I will use this example of there is a little girl who is in our produce department and she hurt her back. I heard about it and when I saw her I bee lined over to her, to ask how she was. She deeply appreciated someone asking about her, and gave me heartfelt looks afterwards when I saw her. What would that girl's life be without my being moved by the Holy Ghost to show I cared? She would be hurt, not thinking anyone cared, be sullen, isolated and not having any hope. That was one act in this life God has bestowed on me, more important than a charity foundation donation of millions of dollars as the price of that act when it was needed was priceless to one soul.
You must have Faith. Jesus had Faith, but Jesus was expected to do things and He put that Faith and relationship with the Father to do good. A sinful woman by a water well, one woman and by that act, a village was brought to Promise. Jesus though is a grand event Son of God as He needed to be as Leader. All of us though must accomplish the things which do not get recorded in this world, in keeping ourselves honest and not mistreating others. We must be good and do good in Christ as His examples here, so that the first thought about us is not, "Yeah I know that bastard", but "You can trust that person as they are honest".
So when Christ informs each of us that Spiritually we are born into a Royal Priesthood, we are. We are each generations Christian representative for the coming Kingdom of God, which Christ is the King of Peace.
The Royal Priest does not get to sit around basking in wealth, sitting around on their lazy fat ass being served or being a predator on others. The Royal Priest is of Faith in Christ, and accomplishes service to others in doing good, and makes a point of keeping themselves as good examples as you are the example of Christ on earth.
St. Paul's Holy Ghost Inspired Letter to the Hebrews
6 1 So come on, let's leave the preschool fingerpainting exercises on Christ and get on with the grand work of art. Grow up in Christ. The basic foundational truths are in place: turning your back on "salvation by self-help" and turning in trust toward God; 2 baptismal instructions; laying on of hands; resurrection of the dead; eternal judgment. 3 God helping us, we'll stay true to all that. But there's so much more. Let's get on with it! 4 Once people have seen the light, gotten a taste of heaven and been part of the work of the Holy Spirit, 5 once they've personally experienced the sheer goodness of God's Word and the powers breaking in on us - 6 if then they turn their backs on it, washing their hands of the whole thing, well, they can't start over as if nothing happened. That's impossible. Why, they've re-crucified Jesus! They've repudiated him in public! 7 Parched ground that soaks up the rain and then produces an abundance of carrots and corn for its gardener gets God's "Well done!" 8 But if it produces weeds and thistles, it's more likely to get cussed out. Fields like that are burned, not harvested.
9 I'm sure that won't happen to you, friends. I have better things in mind for you - salvation things! 10 God doesn't miss anything. He knows perfectly well all the love you've shown him by helping needy Christians, and that you keep at it. 11 And now I want each of you to extend that same intensity toward a full-bodied hope, and keep at it till the finish. 12 Don't drag your feet. Be like those who stay the course with committed faith and then get everything promised to them. 13 When God made his promise to Abraham, he backed it to the hilt, putting his own reputation on the line. 14 He said, "I promise that I'll bless you with everything I have - bless and bless and bless!" 15 Abraham stuck it out and got everything that had been promised to him. 16 When people make promises, they guarantee them by appeal to some authority above them so that if there is any question that they'll make good on the promise, the authority will back them up. 17 When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee - 18 God can't break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable. 19 It's an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God 20 where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek
