Hit and run
Rusian Myktchyn, 37, of the 7300 block of Diversey Avenue, Elmwood Park, was charged Dec. 25 with driving with a revoked license, leaving the scene of an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Myktchyn is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 15.
Violating order of protection
Dawid Koziar, 33, of the 200 block of North Ash Avenue, Wood Dale, was charged Dec. 23 with violating an order of protection. Koziar was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 31.
Domestic battery
Jemal Eathen Cardona, 18, of the 2600 block of 74th Court, Elmwood Park, was charged Dec. 19 with domestic battery, criminal damage to vehicle and theft under $500.
River Grove
Fraud and deceptive practice
On Dec. 28, three residents reported they were victims of unemployment fraud.
The sales associate of a gas station in the 8800 block of Grand Avenue reported Dec. 26 that someone had tried to use two counterfeit $100 bills.
The manager of a grocery store in the 3100 block of Thatcher Avenue reported that a customer tried to pay for their items with a counterfeit $100 bill.
Burglary
Two silver coins and a Kickers speaker box were reported stolen Dec. 28 from a vehicle parked in the 8600 block of Center Avenue.
DUI
Sierra Jackson, 34, of Hillside, was charged Dec. 27 with DUI.
Joshua A. Arias, 25, of the 2600 block of Lavergne Avenue, Chicago, was charged Dec. 27 with DUI.
Melesio Jaramillo-Osorio, 28, of the 2100 block of Mobile Avenue, Chicago, was charged Dec. 27 with DUI.
Disturbance
Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 2800 block of Elm Street on Dec. 27.
Criminal damage
A man reported Dec. 26 that three of the tires on his vehicle were punctured as it was parked in the 8200 block of O’Connor Drive.
A window on a garden unit of a building the 8200 block of O’Connor Drive was reported broken Dec. 26.
Theft
A woman reported Dec. 25 that a $100 Jewel-Osco gift card was stolen from her kitchen table.
A man reported Dec. 24 that his wallet went missing while he was shopping at a grocery store in the 3100 block of Thatcher Avenue. The reported loss is $500 cash and his debit cards.
Disorderly conduct
Michal N. Michalski, 44, of the 8200 block of Walsh Lane, River Grove, was charged Dec. 24 with disorderly conduct.
