The Oasis from the World

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

It is nice to be missed.

We had not been to the salvage yard for over 3 weeks as the weather was so shitty, but as my cousin needed somethings and sent me to locate, I went to see JYG and he of course had piles of things. The thing is when I asked about my project........he didn't have the shank of metal I required. He had though been looking for things I had asked him about in machinery.

I knew we had been missed as he drove up with his backhoe and yelled at me to stop digging around in the trash.......as he had already dug through everything. In my part of the world if someone is not giving you static, they don't like you. So JYG had missed us a great deal.

I'm always fascinated by how this genius' mind works. As I think it was his nephew had dragged in some buried car, which of course will be salvaged, and they were flipping it over, and I was educated even in that, as JYG said, "You know we got to turn this car the other way, or the gas will run out of the tank". Yes experience is the best teacher, especially as they had the propane torch working and nothing singes things more than 10 gallons of old gas puddled at your feet and your having a blue flame dropping hot slag into that puddle.

JYG's dog was pleased to see us. Came over, got petted and then went back to JYG to ride on his shoulders.

I had found some planters in the junk bin, and I did not even remember until TL mentioned them as we were leaving, but I did not want to spend 20 bucks on them, so I asked about a fixed up ladder he had laying there and after I asked, he said I could get that, and tried to get me to buy the other wooden one by the shop. I declined as wood rots, and with that I offered 20 bucks as the ladder even hybridized like it was, was worth 50 bucks and the planets were 10 bucks alone. JYG said too much, put the price at 10 bucks and change, and then said I might as well take that wooden ladder too. I asked how much and he said to just take it.

The only class in school that JYG excelled at was art, and he has art creations all over that salvage yard he built. I was watching him with a grapple in picking up trash, and he was handling that like a chef does carving sushi.

If there was one thing I could do for him, that would be to get his diploma for him, as he stayed in school and extra year, and then was half a credit short. I mean I went to Gestapo High and that is what that shit hole was like. Put you on detention for something they found up your ass, but let a kid fuck away an entire year in not telling him he was short in half a credit. That is just asshole to the extreme.

I intend to look up and see who is the head honcho running the show and see if I can do some diplomatic pleading for my client to get that diploma, as he is brighter than all the people that run that town. He builds things, he fixes things, he tears stuff apart, and this is not little pissy shit, but this is heavy equipment with massive cylinders, and he figures out how to fix things with what he has, so it is not a 10,000 dollar part he could not afford.

I hope for warmer weather and an early spring as I missed being out there and wandering around. I missed his stories about pulling cars around on their roof so they did not gouge up the soil. That man has forgot more shit than most people will ever learn.

I just pray God forgives, blesses and prospers JYG as he has been really good for us.
