As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
My Bible reading on October 15th was from St. Peter in his epistles. St Peter is quite accurate in his description of the last days. Just remember that the End Times is different from Jacob's Trouble and the Last Days is different from them all. The Last Days are the final period, as in the Day of the Lord. Jacob's Trouble is in the Great Tribulation, but is focused on the Lost 10 Tribes, while the End Times is the encompassing period of all.
St. Peter is explicit in what he speaks of in Prophesy, of the Day of the Lord, so you should understand that the Old Prophets and the Revelation are not the only sources of end time details. St. Peter is speaking of the Day of the Lord and he speaks of a heat so hot that it melts elements, the earth will be burned up and the heavens being dissolved.
Dissolved is interesting in one associates this with liquids in things dissolve in to a liquid. St. Peter though is speaking of fire. With no irony intended, he begins this with a recounting of the Deluge of Noah, in water, but the end is in fire.
DISSOLVE: Cause to go into a solution
So St. Peter is specifically noting that the heat of this fire will dissolve what is above and below, another word which makes this a bit more clear is, vaporized. I'm not stating that this is the meaning of St. Peter's Prophecy, but the only thing on earth which will vaporize metals is atomic power. The only thing above which we know of are space lasers and the natural meteorites burning up in the atmosphere.
This is terrifying to even me, as this is high heat. In Jesus Revelation, His Prophecy records of high heat which burns people, and it drives them into caves. Yes the sun can scorch as such as a yellow dwarf is unstable and could produce this kind of intense heat, but the fact is, it is recorded in the Bible and this will happen, no matter the source. The science though backs up with St. Peter is speaking of. There are multiple sources for this.
II PETER CHAPTER 3
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
St. Peter exhorts each of us to be right with God, that means obeying His Commandments in every form or at least trying, as this is out there and it is closer than any of us thinks. Just remember the thief in the night verses appear, and that means without warning. Yes there are signs for those who are watching and events which must take place, but do not go jacking off to centerfolds in thinking that the Temple must be built or other events, as God the Father might decide those signs were only providing cover for sinners who think they can be satan's until the last moments and the cry out to Jesus to save them.
