As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
I'm sharing this from Captain Kirk, because it is something which will make your lives easier, and that is talking to God and doing what He directs. You have to be careful because you start rejecting God's direction and He will stop permanently. God does not suffer fools.
Miss Big Shot here has been trying to get what few cattle we have moved to a winter pasture and each time I try, some damned storm or some dead brother event happens. So I'm out of grazing feed. It is going to be another wind storm. I can't put the cattle on my Grandpas place as there is not sufficient wind protection, so am not going to expose them to that kind of stress.
So I get stressed. hours of praying. I told God, "I need to hear You, because I don't know if this is satan hindering me or what is going on. I'm scared about what to do as I do not know what to do.".
So I get up to check things about 5 AM and I get this serene feeling and the direction comes to me, "Feed the cattle". So that is what I did today in I called the neighbor and he had a time of it in the froze ground and the mud with his big tractor, and it is now done. I now have some leeway to hopefully get hem over there in the weather straightening out in about a week.
Sometimes God does not tell me as in what Richard and Stephanie learned of my adventure this past week, as God likes to surprise me too with good things. So maybe I have some bad things happen which get me to a place where God has prepared good things.
As I type this, I'm watching a good thing sleeping on my feet and keeping them warm. That was all God directed 3 months ago.
Just ask God for answers and He will talk to you. Just make sure you do not reject the solution as I paid dearly for that and God .......well things were never the same after that. My big regret.
I once told someone online that I ask God about things all the time. The woman was stunned in I was asking God about little things. I always think of it as cheating as God knows the answers and I get the answers from Him so things are easy for me. Put it this way, going on an errand is a small thing, unless you get a traffic citation, hit a deer, get into a wreck, then little gets big, harmful or deadly. No I do not ask God every single time, but I do pray for safety and keeping evil and cops from me. I make decisions though on purchases, I ask God what to do as much as asking Holy Angels to guide me in what I'm working on. I have a habit of just throwing things against the wall and it works out, because I know God and Holy Angels are directing the chaos to order.
I was thanking God for the Holy Ghost help on the direction today. I knew I had the right answer so it made the rest of the day calm for me. I do worry and fret over things a great deal. I never worry over things though when I know God has the answer worked out. This is all available to every Christian God always makes me look smart, talented and accomplished. I always give Him all credit as I have zero ego in this, as I would rather have things easy than me looking good.
OK the letter.
Hi LC,
I'm usually hesitant to write because I don't want to waste your time. I'm writing about this because I know you will understand it. One of the things that drew me to you and your blog, was your ability to listen to and hear the Holy spirit. I always admired that and hoped to be able to do that someday. I love your stories about fixing or making things, and how the Holy Spirit prompts you to do something that works. I believe that has happened for me now! I needed to replace some faucets that were 15+ years rusted on. I suck with a basin wrench, and because I am muscular, it is very hard for me to fit underneath. Because of other bills, I really didn't want to pay a plumber to do it, so I decided to try it. The bolts were so rusted it seemed they were welded to the threads on the handles. I couldn't get positioned to use both hands or to really see what I was doing. I was about to give up. Then I got an urge to try once more, and asked God to be with me regardless the outcome. Somehow, I suddenly slipped under, flat on my back, no pain, able to use both hands and see everything. Then I had thought on how to keep the basin wrench flat and gripping the nut with the handle perpendicular. Then I heard a thought about putting a vise grip on the faucet tube so I could break the nut free with the basin wrench. It worked!! It was a moment of pure joy for me! Some other difficulties popped up, but the thoughts "came" to me on how to handle it. I guarantee there was no way I would have gotten it done on my own - I ain't THAT smart! Similar thing happened when I needed to rewire a turnstile lamp (5 - 90 degree turns to thread the lamp cord through). What a wonderful gift, and the hope that maybe finally I've become a person the Holy Spirit can stand to be around!!!Your writing has had a lot to do with me being better (still a very, very long way to go). I've always admired your ability to fix and create things with your hands. The Lord bless and keep you and TL.Glory to the Father, Glory to the Son, Glory to the Holy Spirit!Cpt. Kirk
