As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
The Lame Cherry is not here to pile on Billy Baldwin as others have rightfully done in poignant satire, because for me, I just do not understand Billy Baldwin.
I can understand hate. God gave people that offering to hate all they chose to and would later pay for it. They can hate Donald Trump. They can hate a little dead girl in Ashli Babbit. They can hate Steve Scalise.
It can never occur to them that Ashli Babbitt has family and friends who loved her, and are still injured over her murder. It does not register that Steve Scalise has family too. It never crosses their minds that the person who shot Steve Scalies was a fellow democrat, like the Black man who murdered Ashli Babbitt and they have democrats like Billy Baldwin in their family who are traumatized by all of this forever attention too.
I highly doubt that the Black officer does not have this bothering him every day of his life and hearing that event used as a weapon to get at some political movement injures that man.
While I can understand some things of Billy Baldwin and know things never occur to him, or he would not be engaged in them, the part I will never understand is what Billy Baldwin just did to his family.
For a cheap shot at Donald Trump, he reminded everyone that his brother shot two people, one is dead, and she had a husband and a child,
This Lame Cherry has championed Alec Baldwin at times for the dynamic character he is and I honestly would have been understanding here in the accident of his shooting two people, even though the movie was another anti John Wayne, American ideal smear. I would have done it, because we all make mistakes, sometimes horrendous mistakes we regret.
The reason I never gave Alec Baldwin any room in this, is because he fled the scene. Then he started blaming a woman on the set, and making ridiculous lies that he never pulled the trigger.
Actor John Schneider did a fine job in unmasking that lie, as a Colt 45 is a single action revolver. It simply will not fire unless you manually have the trigger cocked with your thumb. You could break the trigger pulling on it and it still would not fire. That gun fired, because Alec Baldwin cocked the hammer and pulled the trigger.
If Alec Baldwin had owned up to it, even lawyered up and said he could not speak about this until the criminalities were over, then I would support that too, as long as he was trying to make things right for the injured families. He did none of that and fled to England to make another movie.
With that stated, the part I do not understand in this is, all of us saw Mrs. Alec Baldwin go into meltdown psychologically firing at reporters in verbal assaults. This bothered her greatly. Both Alec and his wife had a pile of children. This has filtered through to them and it is affecting them. That is what I do not understand in this is Billy Baldwin's brother, who gave Billy what career he had due to Alec's fame.
This is his sister in law, who appears to be a loving wife and mother. She seems to be a good woman. Why would it never occur to Billy Baldwin to protect her and not shoot his mouth off?
And his nieces and nephews, they do not need to hear remarks at school and wherever from adults about their uncle being crass about people who have been shot to try and get at Donald Trump. How the disconnect of "My brother shot two people, so maybe I better not weaponize my keyboard and remind people of that in bringing up other people who have been shot and murdered".
Even sociopaths and psychopaths, providing the hurt is something they experience will have empathy for that human in that situation. None of that even registers with Billy Baldwin.
Family, real family, is something you try and protect. It comes to you before you say and do things that maybe I should not say or do that as it might hurt their feelings. You do not forget your brother shot two people, so is this some twisted payback of jealousy for Alec Baldwin's success? Again though, why punish your sister in law and your nieces and nephews as they are your family!
Billy always seemed like the angry Baldwin brother, in he had not the looks, not the talent and was overlooked while others succeeded. I feel pity for Billy Baldwin as something of hate, like that husband of that Trump advisor was so getting off on a Twitter limelight in attacking Trump that it destroyed his marriage and has harmed his children. What kind of epitaph is it that your oldest daughter sues to emancipate herself from you as a parent. That is just what no child needs, as most of us did have horrid parents, but maybe we were fortunate in a Grandparent or an Uncle who checked on us and made a difference.
Alec Baldwin's children and wife are going to need a brother in law and an uncle who they can depend on, who will put them first as Alec Baldwin is facing some serious charges. Billy Baldwin has already failed at that. In life there is no greater failure, than family failing you and betraying you. I know too well as my children do here in the course of human events with my former family.
The reason I am posting this, is not for Billy Baldwin. This is for each of you reading this, to become aware of how not to act out. You have to have boundaries. You can not get a pound of flesh off of Donald Trump, if it means you have sacrificed the people in your family. Donald Trump is not worth that, except to his family who he is loyal to.\
God help Billy Baldwin even though that is a futile prayer. God help all the victims of Alec Baldwin as that prayer will help some, in Jesus Name Amen and Amen.
