Before there was an Edward Snowden, there was Daniel Ellsberg, a patriot who helped lead to the end of the democratic war party for profit,Vietnam War.
“It’s urgent to get this war ended. … We need a ceasefire and negotiations before [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is confronted with any prospect of losing Crimea and all of Donbas” which would “make the danger of nuclear war initiated by Russia more dangerous than any time since the Cuban Missile Crisis.”
Because of Daniel Ellsberg, detente became the hallmark of President Richard Nixon's joining with the Russians in reducing nuclear weapons.
America needs more voices on the left like Daniel Ellsberg as the left is silent in this holocaust and America needs a President like Richard Nixon to save us from nuclear war.
We need to end the genocide in Ukraine against the Slavs and Russians, before billions join Daniel Ellsberg in the grave as he dies from cancer, with his final plea.
