Like all poor people, I do what I can in what God presents, in I finally picked up a Whirlpool electric stove. I really do not have a 220 volt hook up for the thing, but this is about future tense if there is still electricity in now I have an option. We have our old propane.........we have a JYG natural gas, and now we have a JYG electric.
For 50 bucks, we got a burn barrel for trash thrown in, instead of the 10 bucks, and this Whirlpool. We tested it at JYG's and it all worked. I figured the way the people sat it down, instead of throwing it, and that it was Grandma or Grandpa dirty, that the people who had it, either had dumped Grampa into the old folks home or Gram died or it was a rental and they did not want to clean the stove, so they tossed it and would just buy a new one. New ones start around 700 bucks.
So we got from God one for 50 bucks which is better quality than a new one. JYG told us to get something called Magic Eraser for the top to clean it up, some degreaser for the other parts and the stove will all be kosher.
Hell I just remembered by the Holy Ghost in that trailer house that we got from JYG that there is a stove in there, either electric or gas, so I think we have reached our prep threshold now which I'm very grateful for.
This all took place in the first week of October in posting this. We shall see what fun has happened in the world by this season.
